1: What is my experience with electrics?
-Comfortable crimping JST, DF3, Nano, Cat5, and Blade connector pieces to wires
-I have to find faults in our electrical systems in order to fix certain systems at Activate
2: What is my biggest weakness?
-I can lose track of time while working on tasks. When I get really into fixing something at work sometimes I can get carried away.
3: What are some examples of me being a good team member?
-I stay calm in serious circumstances. Once at Activate the entire system went down and we initially had no idea why. I kept a cool head on and helped resolve the issue in a timely manner. Turned out that the one of our main network cables had been crushed and needed to be replaced.
-At our current facility when we first opened, our maintenance room was left to us as an empty room with boxes of random pieces and parts all over the place. I practically built that room from the ground up. I created heavily organized storage space, systems for staff and other team leads to follow to keep the room organized, thoroughly cleaned the area, and created work spaces within it.
-I
5: What is my biggest strength?
-I am an exceptional problem solver. Many of the jobs I have done best at in the past required identifying and resolving problems within semi-complex systems.
4: What is my availability/pay expectation?
-Fully available. I prefer 4 day work weeks but full time is perfectly fine
-I am not entirely sure. I have spent some time looking into it online and I find a wide variety of what the average apprentice electrician makes. What are you guys hoping to offer? I currently get paid $20 an hour., but I would like to get paid more than this.
5: Why am I looking at leaving my current job?
-I don't feel there are ample opportunities for growth at Activate. Additionally I feel that I am not fairly compensated for the share of work I do there.
