McDonald's Happy Meal Boxes the fun
Many of the fun of childhood appear out of reach for absolutely grown adults, from Flintstones vitamins to brightly-colored Marvel Band-Aids. But one childhood favourite — the Happy Meal — is back in full pressure, with McDonald’s reimagining the kids-only meal as an adult box with new toys. The chain partnered with streetwear model Cactus Plant Flea Market, a favorite of hip-hop greats and high-wattage celebs, to bring again toys like Grimace, Hamburglar, Birdie, and even a brand new character named Cactus Buddy. The adult-friendly meals debuted Oct. three, and, just like the kids-only version of the Happy Meal, are available in eating places, drive-thrus, and by order via the app or drive-thru window.

The adult Happy Meal is designed to stoke nostalgia, with redesigned toys that replicate the types of CPFM and McDonald’s. The box itself is paying homage to the Happy Meal boxes of yesteryear, with a redesigned Golden Arches brand, and comes with a selection of Big Mac or 10-piece chicken McNuggets, fries, and a drink. ไข่เน่าโดนเย็ดตูด features a particular collectible toy, McDonald’s tells Axios. The box was designed in collaboration with CPFM, and the characters are meant to replicate each brands’ fashion.

While the adult-friendly toys are a giant promoting point, McDonald’s is facing some challenges with the hyper-popular promotion. Employees across the nation are reporting that clients are ordering the adult Happy Meals in droves, leading to massive backlogs and complications for workers. The chain is trying to keep the orders flowing as smoothly as potential by prepackaging the packing containers for purchasers, but this isn’t easy when you’re dealing with a large volume of bigger, more complicated objects that don’t match into a daily youngsters' Happy Meal field.

Additionally, the boxes aren’t designed to stack, so employees are struggling to keep them filled up as folks order their meals. This is an additional strain on employees who already work long hours and are dealing with the stress of a hyper-popular promotion that they weren’t prepared for.

Despite the challenges, lots of McDonald’s employees are excited in regards to the grownup Happy Meal, and the toys themselves are an enormous draw for fans. The adult-friendly McDonald’s meals are currently sold out at most locations, but the firm has promised to offer more in the future.
