1. Whomping Willows adalah tanaman yg sangat berharga, spesies yang sangat keras dari tanaman ajaib. Dedalu perkasa akan menyerang siapa pun dan apa pun yang datang dalam jangkauan cabangnya. Sebuah pabrik gugur, fungsi anggota badan adalah sebagai senjata dan kerusakan kepada mereka harus diperlakukan dengan cara yang sama. Dedalu Perkasa ditanam di Hogwarts pada tahun 1971 untuk menyamarkan pembukaan jalan rahasia yang mengarah dari Hogwarts ke Shrieking Shack di desa Hogsmeade.
2. Devil's Snare adalah tanaman magis yang mempunyai keistimewaan yaitu mencengkram objek yang ada disekitarnya. Tanaman ini dapat melukai apabila kita berteriak kencang. Memiliki massa yang lembut, sulur kenyal dan merupakan tanaman merambat yang memiliki beberapa rasa sentuhan. Sulur dari tanaman ini yang menjerat orang yg menyentuhnya, mengikat tangan dan kaki dan akhirnya tersedak. Semakin keras seseorang berjuang melawan tanaman ini maka lebih cepat dan erat menjerat. Korban harus mampu mempertahankan pikiran, dan lebih bersantai.
