How to Check MyGift Balance
The ability to purchase anything you want, whenever you want, with a gift card is a dream come true for many shoppers. Whether GiftCardMall giving one to friends and family or buying it for yourself, knowing how much money is left on the card will help you stay within your budget. Checking your balance can be done at the store, online or by calling a customer service number for each brand of card. You'll need to have the card number, expiration date and security code ready, so write those down before you call.

For cards that can be redeemed online, start by heading to the brand's website. Look for a 'Gift Card' tab or search their FAQs for information on how to check your balance. Usually, you will be asked to type in the card number and 3-digit security code. If you're having trouble finding information on the brand's site, flip your card over to the back and read the fine print. You should see a toll-free number for customer service or a specific phone number for balance inquiries.
