It uses the spinning LIDAR device that is mounted on top and a front-facing camera to map, obstacles detection and avoidance.

As with all the other robots I've tried, it can identify your home's layout and select a cleaning plan based on the flooring type and room as well as the obstacles you have. This makes it able to be used for automatic mopping and vacuuming or vac before you mop.

Simple to use

L30 Ultra's 3.2L dustbin is automatically emptied, making it a hands-free cleaner. It also has an heated water mopping system that removes the need for mop pad washing by hand and ensures cleanliness. The mopping technology of the device allows for a thorough cleaning of hard-to-reach areas, including under furniture.

The Dreametech L30 Ultra did well in our tests. It was able to remove pet hair efficiently and stayed clear of tangles thanks to its side brushes and wheels and didn't get hair tangled around its brush roll. The fact that it has an interchangeable battery as well as an airflow system that is vented to keep the batteries cool is also appealing.

Its navigation system is world-class and utilizes the powerful SLAM algorithm to map your home for a more precise route. It can also recharge at its base after every cleaning session.
