Ten Best Robot Vacuum And Mop That Will Actually Improve Your Life
The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are looking for a robot vacuum and mop that's priced in the middle. It gives a great mopping experience but lacks the advanced features of its more expensive sibling.

During testing, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do to map your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and a variety of features such as a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can recognize your habits of cleaning, and suggest automatic schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

Setup is easy, thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning process at the click of a button. You can select a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like rice and cereal. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that the entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This robot vacuum is effective on both floors that are bare and low-pile carpet. It can pick up pet hair and sucks large objects up. It doesn't lose suction as fast as some other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with plush or high-pile carpet, but iRobot says it will improve with future models.

The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into furniture and walls. It's a nice change from the hockey puck-like design of most robovacs, though we found it to be marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system which blocks microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. We like the statement however, it's not enough to justify a higher price.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to keep track of the structure of your home, and vSLAM for mapping the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as create virtual boundary markers, so that it can recognize areas that require extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. And its mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub floors more efficiently than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to allow to provide more thorough cleaning, but that's an acceptable cost to pay for if you want to get one of the best robots on the market. The dust tank on the robovac is bigger than most of its competitors. Filling it up only takes two or three cycles, even when you have maximum dirt.

For the mopping device, I was amazed with its ability to scrub hard-to-clean dirt from my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than the high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or watch television without being distracted. It will gently hit a wall or furniture and move on whenever it comes across one.

What distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost autonomously with very little need for user intervention. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer trash into a hidden bin. It also washes and dries the clean water tank. mop robot vacuum is adept at notifying you when something needs attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. This feature is helpful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or when you have to frequently remove clutter, such as toys, clothes, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first go. It can also remove wet spills, though I recommend drying them with a cloth before sending the robot in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads to keep them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The biggest difference over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still large--it has a height of more than two feet height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris and is easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even when you're not at home. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your house instead of just following a specific path.

The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested thanks to its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. The vacuuming capabilities are also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a large battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as powerful as the ones we've seen on the market for a consumer robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum robot that comes with a range of convenience features that you do not often find on robots of this price range. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These are nice features, but they also place the L10s in the premium category. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners would need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It is tall and slim and has a white-colored finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by an enormous bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving around the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The center of the control panel has the circular menu which lets you select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons open the settings of the app where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for households with pets or young children.

The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops are also quite efficient, removing 98.4 percent of the debris that was found on our wood, tile and carpet tests. However, it wasn't quite as efficient in dealing with sand on the floor or Quaker oats on carpet.
