Most of you have heard that long-time member Lois Vance died recently. Visitation, a funeral, and a lunch have been planned.
Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home of Midland is assisting the Vance family.
Visitation will be 4-7pm on Monday, March 18.
Also from 10-10:50am on Tuesday, March 19.
Funeral Service at 11:00am Tuesday, March 19 (at the funeral home/not at the church).
Burial to follow after at Midland Cemetery (Orchard Drive).

A meal for family and friends (approx 50 people) at Emmanuel Baptist Church after the service at the cemetery.
About the meal, we need help to pull this off. If anyone can help with this, please contact Pastor David or Eula Glover and let them know. Perhaps those who did not know Lois very well or those who won't be attending the funeral service could gather at the church to set up and administer the meal. Perhaps a few others could stay after to clean up. Again, please let Pastor David or Eula know if you will help. Maybe some of you can talk and organize tomorrow night when we meet to discuss the future plans for Emmanuel Baptist Church.
