in source A Emma watson is saying that men and women should be equal no matter what. this is clear when she says ' ive seen my father's role as a parent being less valued by society'. from this i can infer that men aren't being equally treated and have less recognition for what they do whether it's being a father or a man. It shows that not only women are treated differently but men too. In the real world women are the only people that get attention for not being treated well but men don't enough attention either.
However in source B, the writer thinks that women are objects that are owned by men. this is clear when the writer says 'gentlemens establishment is complete without one of these Sewing Machines in the house'. from this i can infer that women should be owned by men and they should be allowed to control them. they are just an object in the house that should do everything on command and shouldn't disobey men because they have a lower staus than them. this is different from source A because in source A the speaker thinks women deserve equal respect like men but in source B the writer thinks that women shouldn't be allowed to be as equal as men.
