ILI PIKA
Ili Pika (Ochotona Iliensis) adalah spesies mamalia di keluarga Ochotonidae, endemik sebelah barat laut China. Setelah penemuan pada tahun 1983, Ili Pika tidak didokumentasikan lagi sampai tahun 2014. Populasinya menurun karena penyebab yang +
tidak diketahui dan saat ini dianggap terancam punah. Ochotona Iliensis ditemukan di Boro Boro Shan, Xinjiang, China.
Spesies ini memiliki penyebaran yang sangat terbatas. Ili pika berwarna terang dengan bintik bintik coklat di daerah kening dan leher. Ili pika memiliki berat 250 gram dengan telinga dengan kaki belakang yang merupakan bagian terbesar dari tubuhnya.
Seperti spesies pika lainnya, mereka mempersiapkan untuk hidup di musim dingin. Mereka membuat sarang dan liang di celah-celah kecil di bebatuan gunung.
Mereka hidup pada ketinggian antara 9,200 dan 13,450 kaki. Mereka makan rumput dan tanaman.
Pika dikenal menggemaskan ketika mereka berusaha berkomunikasi dengan yang lain, tapi untuk alasan apapun, Ili pika tampaknya tidak berkomunikasi (meskipun para ilmuwan hanya melihat 29 dari mereka, jadi mungkin mereka adalah 29 yang tenang).
