8 is the LCD SO WE Then sub the 8 in for the equation -3 half's x times 8 -1 8th = 8 time 5/4

now we use the distribute property and put parenthesis around the problom. That way we wont get the signs mixed up. Then we multiply 8 by -3/2 which is -12

Then we do the same on the other side to isolate the variable and get it w or x by itself. Whatever we do to one side we must do to the other to balance it out for it to be equal. A equation has to equal and have a equal sign. a expression has no equal sign. -12x - 1/8 =5/4 now we do 8 times 5 fourths we get 10 now the prolbom you always bring down your equation and u line it up. once us olve u bring it down like a trianlge so it all evens out to check to be the right anwser. then we say -12x -10=5/4

We will subtract the 10 from itself. the nwe will subtract 10 from 5/4 then we would divide the 12 x to get the x alone and then we isolating the vriable then we woud get our anwser plug that number in for x in the problom redo it with the proper numbers then we will Find x and get our anwser to the solution. WE will actually add ten since the sign is a negitive minus a positive is a postive so we add 10 cancel 10 now we get -12x +10 =5/4 now we will simplify... WE will do 12 divided by the 5/4 5 4ths is the same as saying 5 quarters. 1 dollar is 100 pennies. meaning 5 .4 is the same as saying 100 but its a easier way to write it. when we get a easy way to write something we aere easy at it.
another way to write aand now have all the complications. You simply just find the lcd of the 3denominator they least number they all share in commen which is 8 1 fraction is already 8th now we need to simplify it to 8ths its like u fold 1 thing in half u get1 half and then another half and u keep getting halfs and thenu fold in 3rds. u then Add the numerators, then you get your final fraction write it over 1 if it turns out it can be simplified further do so cause u never know how specific aleks can get.
