Do You Think You're Suited For Best Robot Vacuum And Mop Self-Empty? Do This Test
Best Robot Vacuum and Mop With Self-Empting Bases

Self-emptying bases make robotic vacuums worth the cost, particularly for homes with a large footprint. This means that you don't have to empty the bin several times during a run, which keeps it running more often and keeping your floors cleaner.

Its Lidar navigation does a great job of mapping, and you can make use of the app to set zones and cleaning schedules. But it didn't avoid obstacles like furniture legs, as well as the j7 or Q Revo.

1. iRobot Combo J7+

The Combo J7+ robot vacuum and mop is the first from iRobot. The Combo J7+ takes the top-quality iRobot J7 robot vacuum and adds a reservoir of water and a robotic arm that raise and lower mopping mats, as well as new sensors. The result is a powerful two-in-one cleaner that we've found superior to non-mopping robot vacuums.

The Combo J7+ doesn't have the features for smart mopping that our top pick does however it still effectively cleans. It has a very efficient brush roll that is effective on hard floors as well as carpeted rooms. It can get in between rugs and furniture without difficulty even on stairs that are steep. It has a strong suction that we were very impressed with, even though it's not as powerful as the iRobot Roomba 694's.

What makes the Combo j7+ in a way from other robot vacuums is its mopping feature that utilizes an incredibly small rotating brush to scrub the floor. iRobot calls it SmartScrub and it operates by moving back and forth, similar to the way you scrub your floor using a mop. The iRobot App lets you enable it on a per-room basis.

Like other iRobot robots, the j7 Plus is easy to install and use. It is also simple to maintain. The dust bin as well as the water tank can be taken out to clean it easily. The iRobot app lets you view videos on how to maintain various components of the machine, like changing the mopping pads, and cleaning the dust bin.

The only real drawback is that the iRobot Combo J7+ only mops if it has a mopping pad attached and its 210 ml water tank is fully filled. It will only vacuum if either of these are missing. You can easily keep an eye on the tank's water level via the iRobot app, and when it's low you'll get an email to refill it.

2. Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is a budget robot that does a great job at mopping and vacuuming. Its mopping performance is impressive, especially for the price. It is great for carpets and hard floors and can pick up large and small pieces of debris (think hair tangles, or cat litter). It also excels at cleaning up dried spills, messes and staining. It is also excellent for cleaning up stairs and other places that can easily get stuck.

The mopping system utilizes rotating pads to scrub your floors and remove dirt and grime even from areas that are stuck. The pad is then thoroughly dried with 45 minutes of warm air after each cleaning to avoid unpleasant odors and mold. You can easily control the robot using the Roborock app, or use your voice to get your mopping started change settings, and more.

Its vacuuming is also top-notch. It has an impressive suction and a high-efficiency filter that can handle small to large particles with ease. The only drawback is that it doesn't work as well against pet hair on carpet. After two cleaning sessions at maximum power 10% of pet hair was still on the test surface. This is not unheard of.

The Q Revo has a lot going for it including its superior cleaning and mopping to its superb navigation and obstacles avoidance. It's not as good as the higher-end robot mop and vacuum, but it is still an excellent option for anyone with a limited budget. It can charge up to 30% quicker than the previous models and works with Amazon Alexa and Apple Siri Shortcuts. This provides a lot more convenience at a low price. Take a look at our full review of the Roborock Q Revo for more details and to determine whether it's the right choice for you.

3. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube is a vacuum mop robot that performs well and offers great features at a very affordable price. The setup was easy and took only five minutes. After removing the protective tape and plastic, you can scan the QR code on the app to get started. The app is easy to use and will guide you through each step. Once you have it set up, you can start mapping and cleaning.

The app allows you to create maps and customize the layout of your home. The app lets you divide rooms into smaller segments so that they can be targeted more specifically. For instance, you can create a map of the kitchen area and another for the living room, allowing the robot to sweep the floors in each room at different times.

The Yeedi Cube is unique compared to other robots that I've test. It has an industrial look. Its base station features an edgier design than other robots, with the dirty-water tank and autoempty feature on one end, and the vacuum on another. The mop pad that is reusable is a separate item, slipping into the top of the robot and being attached to an handle on the front to make it easy to remove and refilling.

The vacuum is as efficient as any robot I've ever examined, and it comes with two side brushes as opposed to the single brush found on many models. This expands the coverage of the vacuum, making it less likely to lose debris on furniture and walls. However, it does have some issues with object detection and a tendency to move at full speed through objects, such as a tassel rug in my office.

4. iRobot Braava Jet m6

The iRobot Braava Jet m6 robot mop is an excellent choice for maintaining your hard flooring. It does a great job and will keep them looking great. It isn't able to vacuum like other hybrids and cannot move from hard floors to carpets or rugs. However, with its long battery life and intelligent mopping features, this robot is a great choice for small and mid-sized houses.

It can also be employed in dry sweeping mode, cleaning up to 1,000 square. ft. on a single battery charge. self cleaning robot vacuums can also map your floor plan with the iRobot App and clean your rooms in a series by using compatible Roomba Vacuums.

In wet mopping, the m6 employs precise sprays to dampen the floors in straight lines. It was fascinating to watch, and it was able to eliminate even the most stubborn dried-in coffee and juice stains from my floors. It can be set to use less water or more than the maximum amount specified by the app.

The iRobot App is one of the most user-friendly apps on the market. self emptying vaccum makes it simple to sync with your home's wifi. It has many user-friendly features, such as scheduling, partitioning rooms, and creating no-go areas. This gives you complete control over the machine. It also lets you check the remaining battery power so that you get an accurate estimate of how long it has left before needing to be docked and recharged. The m6 can be purchased at My Robot Centre for PS499 in the UK or at the iRobot Store in the US for just $399 and on Amazon (where the m6 is currently on sale). It's available in graphite and white.

5. Shark RV2610WA

There's no denying that mop and vacuum robots are a convenient method of keeping your home spotless without lifting a finger however they do come with hefty price tags. The Shark AI Ultra 2-in-1 robot mop and vacuum that comes with XLHEPA Self-Empty Base, which we reviewed, retails at $699 / PS559 or approximately $1054. Forget the charging base and you'll have to pay $549/PS395/about $775 AUD.

The Shark RV2610WA is a good choice for anyone who needs an omni-functional robot that can tackle both vacuuming and mopping. It can also deep remove stubborn stains with the stain-lifting product included in the package. The app lets you program the machine to clean on a specific date and time, and comes with a smart feature that allows you to control the robot even when you're not at home.

The Shark vacuum cleaner is excellent at cleaning and can remove the majority of debris. However, it is not as efficient on carpets. It's easy for pet hair to get caught in the brushroll and the dirt container will quickly fill up. It also has a variety of components that require regular maintenance and replacement, which could add up to recurring costs over time.

There are better options on the market. The iRobot Combo J7 Plus offers superior performance on bare floors and carpets with high pile. It is more durable, has an extra-large dustbin and is able to move over obstacles such as electrical cords easily. The iRobot cleaner is more expensive, but it's is worth it if your goal is an all-purpose vacuum that will do both tasks with ease.
