The author at very first talks about the World War II which the mass of disputes, dispute, and social divisions during peacetime was broken by a single, overriding national objective. Here he supports the positive side of unity of being strong existential significance and intent but later it was desired to be contributed to the popularity of collectivist policies and beliefs. The author in the article takes the report that Beveridge published in 1942 in his support regarding his argument against collectivism. He makes discussion about how the individuals of the era believed that these ideal objectives could only be achieved by the government. Stated in Beveridge Report that want “could have been abolished in Britain before the present war” and that “the income available to the British people was ample for such a purpose.” (Beveridge, 1942) the author discusses furthermore about it and taunt it as a matter of dividing the national income cake into more equal slices by means of redistributive taxation. He also added F. A. von Hayek "The Road to Serfdom", published in 1944 in his notes. He considered the Hayek concern about the widespread adoption of collectivist arguments—or, worse, presumptions—by British intellectuals from all social groups as well. The author supports his argument with the historical events, reports from critics make a very good perspective about collectivism.
