I learned about command [ tree ] which shows me the structure of the current directory and its content
I learned about [ tree -d ] which I can use to show only directories structures It will not include the files, also It will give total number of directories.
I learned about [ tree -h ] which I can use to show sizes of the directories as well as files also in structured format, also It will give total number of directories as well as files.
I also learned if I want to see the structure of a particular directory then I can use same command with the directory name to see the structure, i.e. [ tree Downloads ], It will show the structure of hte Downloads folder.
I also learned if I want to see the structure of a directory with details of its content in json then I can use same command i.e. [ tree -J ], It will show the structure in json format inluding the file type whether it is directory or file.
I revised shell scripting and the commands that I have used in DB migration.
I learned about field separtor in awk command and how to use that for pattern scanning and get the output.
I learned about NF in awk which shows the depth levels of the directories I can also use some value to skip the level with that much specified value.
Finally I used [ find /home/princekumar/Downloads | awk -F/ '{print NF-3, $NF}' ] to show the levels of the file and directories in the specified directories, I used NF-4 so that it skips the 3 levels and prints the directory level as 1, because I am in /home/user/.
