Checking out the consequences of 11 important physicochemical factors upon growth and lipid deposition regarding Chlorella sp. as a feedstock pertaining to biodiesel manufacturing.
This might play an important role in the pathogenesis of the menopause female tongue burning sensation. CBL0137 p53 activator Remifemin had certain curative effect on the dorsal lingual mucosa, but a little more inferior than estrogen.
The thinning in the apex of dorsal lingual epithelium might be due to the reduced proliferation in the germinal layer led by the abating of estrogen level, instead of apoptosis. This might play an important role in the pathogenesis of the menopause female tongue burning sensation. Remifemin had certain curative effect on the dorsal lingual mucosa, but a little more inferior than estrogen.Large-scale and long-term metabolomic studies have attracted widespread attention in the biomedical studies yet remain challenging despite recent technique progresses. In particular, the ineffective way of experiment integration and limited capacity in metabolite annotation are known issues. Herein, we constructed an online tool MMEASE enabling the integration of multiple analytical experiments with an enhanced metabolite annotation and enrichment analysis (https//idrblab.org/mmease/). MMEASE was unique in capable of (1) integrating multiple analytical blocks; (2) providing enriched annotation for >330 thousands of metabolites; (3) conducting enrichment analysis using various categories/sub-categories. All in all, MMEASE aimed at supplying a comprehensive service for large-scale and long-term metabolomics, which might provide valuable guidance to current biomedical studies. SIGNIFICANCE To facilitate the studies of large-scale and long-term metabolomic analysis, MMEASE was developed to (1) achieve the online integration of multiple datasets from different analytical experiments, (2) provide the most diverse strategies for marker discovery, enabling performance assessment and (3) significantly amplify metabolite annotation and subsequent enrichment analysis. MMEASE aimed at supplying a comprehensive service for long-term and large-scale metabolomics, which might provide valuable guidance to current biomedical studies.Follicular atresia is initiated with the apoptosis of granulosa cells (GCs) after birth in mammals. The molecular mechanisms underlying GC apoptosis during follicular selection are unclear at present. The objective of this study is to identify the proteins and pathways that may be involved in porcine follicular atresia. Proteins isolated from GCs collected from healthy and atretic follicles were detected by tandem mass tag (TMT) protein labeling and LC-MS/MS. A total of 4591 proteins in the healthy follicle granulosa cell (HFGC) and atretic follicle granulosa cell (AFGC) groups were identified, and 399 differentially abundant proteins were found between the HFGC and AFGC groups; of which 262 proteins were significantly up-regulated and 137 proteins were significantly down-regulated. Differential protein enrichment analysis showed that proteins involved in proteolysis, protein destabilization, phagocytosis, and engulfment were more abundant in the AFGC group. Also, these proteins were mainly involved in the lysosome, phagosome, autophagy, and apoptosis pathways. Specially, PTGFRN is potential important regulated protein in the development of the antral follicle, and down-regulation of PTGFRN in GCs may lead to follicular atresia. Our study shows that the identified proteins and their related signaling pathways may play crucial roles during health follicle develop to atretic follicle. SIGNIFICANCE Follicular atresia during 'selection' reduces the reproductive potential of sows. In this study, we found 399 proteins differentially abundant. between the HFGC and AFGC groups. These results establish a foundation for elucidating the mechanism of follicular atresia in swine.
Increasingly, states authorize pharmacists to prescribe hormonal contraception to patients without a prescription from another healthcare provider. The purpose of this review is to investigate pharmacist and patient perspectives on pharmacist-prescribed contraception in the United States.

We searched Medline, Embase, PsycInfo, CINAHL, Scopus, and the Cochrane Library from inception through July 10, 2019. We included qualitative and mixed-methods studies, quantitative surveys, observational studies, and randomized trials in the United States. Risk of bias was assessed using tools for quantitative and qualitative studies.

Fifteen studies met inclusion criteria, including studies on pharmacists and student pharmacists (n=9), patients (n=5), and both (n=1). Study samples ranged from local to national. Studies had moderate to high risk of bias, primarily due to low response rates and lack of validated instruments. Most pharmacists (57-96%) across four studies were interested in participating in pharmacist-preducing barriers to implementation could improve participation among pharmacists and patients.
Pharmacist-prescribed contraception is a strategy to expand patient access to contraception. Reducing barriers to implementation could improve participation among pharmacists and patients.
(1) To evaluate the perception of contraceptive counseling and knowledge regarding the impact of unintended pregnancy and (2) examine the prevalence of, and predictors for contraceptive use among systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) patients.

A cross-sectional survey was conducted at the Rheumatology Clinic of a university hospital. SLE patients who attended the clinic from April 2018 to January 2019 and at risk for unintended pregnancy and were invited to be interviewed. The structured interview guide consisted of three parts personal and obstetric information, perception of contraceptive counseling and knowledge about the impact of unintended pregnancy, and contraceptive use.

The mean age of the 137 patients who gave informed consents was 34 ± 8 years, with 47 patients (34%) stating that they had received contraceptive counseling. Seventy-five patients (52%) reported practicing contraception. The intention to not become pregnant (Odds Ratio; 95% CI = 7.28; 1.75-30.27), perception of adequate contraceptieloped and provided in clinical settings.
We evaluated the effect of clinic level implementation of the One Key Question (OKQ) intervention, including physician and staff training and workflow adjustments, on reproductive counseling and patient satisfaction in primary care and ob/gyn.

We implemented the OKQ intervention in one primary care and one ob/gyn practice, while observing another primary care and ob/gyn practice that each provided usual care (control practices). We surveyed separate patient cohorts at two time points 26 before and 33 after the primary care practice implemented OKQ, 38 before and 36 after the ob/gyn practice implemented OKQ, 26 and 37 at the primary care control practice, and 31 and 37 at the ob/gyn control practice. We used chi square tests to assess OKQ's effects on counseling rates and patient satisfaction, comparing intervention to control practices across time points.

In primary care, from before to after implementation, the intervention practice did not significantly increase reproductive counseling (69-76%, p=0.58), but increased patient satisfaction (81-97%, p=0.
