Kutukan Tak Termaafkan
atau yg biasa disebut Unforgivable Curses adalah jenis mantra terkuat dalam sihir hitam. Disebut kutukan tak termaafkan krn penggunaannya (kecuali otoritas Departemen sihir) dilarang dan tak termaafkan apabila digunakan kepada manusia lain. Bahkan penggunanya akan dihukum seumur hidup ke penjara Azkaban.
Ada 3 jenis kutukan tak termaafkan :
1. AVADA KEDAVRA
Killing curse atau kutukan pembunuh.
Mantra ini menimbulkan cahaya hijau pada ujung tongkat sihir, dan menyebabkan kematian instan pada target.
2. CRUCIO
Cruciatus curse adalah mantra penyiksa dimana mantra ini menyebabkan kesakitan yg luar biasa pada target. Efek sakit yg ditimbulkan bergantung pada keinginan dan emosi dr pengguna kutukan.
3. IMPERIO
Imperius curse menyebabkan target berada dalam trance atau keadaan mimpi, meninggalkan target di bawah kontrol penuh terhadap pemantera.
Target akan merasa tenang secara fisik maupun mental, untuk melakukan kejahatan mengerikan, dan mereka mematuhi perintah apapun.
