Amino acid ABC transporter substrate-binding protein that utilizes energy generation was also highly expressed. Genes associated with alkylhydroperoxidase, glucose pathway, and Dot/Icm type IV secretion system were shown to be differentially expressed. check details These results contribute to a better understanding of the survival strategies of intracellular Legionella within Acanthamoeba. The need for a good understanding of the relationship between financial inclusion and economic growth has become a significant concern in national development. Both sectors play an essential role in formulating income distribution policies and reducing poverty, evidence from Eastern Indonesia. This paper, therefore, empirically analyzes the contribution of the financial inclusion to economic growth, poverty alleviation and income inequality in Eastern Indonesia. The Toda-Yamamoto VAR bivariate causality model and the dynamic Panel Vector Autoregression (PVAR) were the two approaches used in this research. The effect and relationship of financial inclusion on economic growth, poverty, inequality and other factors were analyzed using PVAR, and Toda-Yamamoto VAR bivariate causality model, respectively. The results of the bivariate causality model indicate a high relationship level between financial inclusion, economic growth, poverty, and income distribution in Eastern Indonesia. The socio-economic growth has a positive impact on the level of financial inclusion, with a negative impact on poverty. Meanwhile, financial inclusion has a positive effect on inequality, which leads to widespread income inequality in Eastern Indonesia. The repression of human sexuality began anew in the twentieth century with a strengthening of patriarchal conceptions that pathologised sexual preferences, such as homosexuality, lesbianism and bisexuality, and medicalised transsexuality. Our educational approaches based on action research have reduced violence and empowered teenagers - girls and boys - and groups of teachers in different countries of the European Union. The diversification of assessment tools has resulted in an improved evaluation of processes and results. As a result, a high percentage of violence has been eliminated, accompanied by a scaling up of prevention and greater respect for sexual diversity. Critical-emancipatory action research is a viable alternative, as is the empowerment of men, not only of women.Statistical optimization models were employed to optimize the adsorption of textile dye effluent onto Gracilaria edulis. Significant factors responsible for adsorption were determined using Plackett-Burman design (PBD) and were time, pH, and dye concentration. Box-Behnken (BB) design was used for further optimization. The predicted and the experimental values were found to be in good agreement, the coefficient of determination value 0.9935 and adjusted coefficient of determination value 0.9818 indicated that the model was significant. The results of predicted response optimization showed that maximum decolorization could be attained with time 131.51 min, pH 7.48, and dye concentration 23.13%. The model was validated experimentally with 92.65% decolorization efficiency. The experiment was confirmed using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), high-resolution scanning electron microscope coupled with energy dispersive X-ray analysis (HR-SEM-EDX), X-ray diffraction spectrometry (XRD) and Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) surface area and pore size analysis techniques. Desorption studies at various pH (2-14) were performed and a maximum of 23% of the dye was recovered from the adsorbed biomass.Different genus of bacteria has been reported with the capacity to solubilize phosphorus from phosphate rock (PR). Pseudomonas sp., (A18) and Serratia sp., (C7) isolated from soils at the "Departamento de Boyacá" Colombia, where Allium cepa is cultivated. Bacteria were cultured in MT11B media and evaluated as a bio-fertilizer for A. cepa germination and growth during two months at greenhouse scale. Pseudomonas sp., and Serratia sp., cultured at 30 °C, 48 h in SMRS1 agar modified with PR, (as an inorganic source of phosphorus), presented a phosphate solubilization index (SI) of 2.1 ± 0.2 and 2.0 ± 0.3 mm, respectively. During interaction assays no inhibition halos were observed, demonstrating there was no antagonism between them. In MT11B media growth curve (12 h) demonstrated that co-culture can grow in the presence of PR and glucose concentrations 7.5-fold, lower than in SMRS1 media and brewer's yeast hydrolysate; producing phosphatase enzymes with a volumetric activity of 1.3 ± 0.03 PU at 6 h of culture and 0.8 ± 0.04 PU at 12 h. Moreover, co-culture released soluble phosphorus at a rate of 58.1 ± 0.28 mg L-1 at 8 h and 88.1 ± 0.32 mg L-1 at 12 h. After five days of evaluation it was observed that germination percentage was greater than 90 % of total evaluated seeds, when placing them in contact with the co-culture in a concentration of 1 × 108 CFU mL-1. Furthermore, it was demonstrated that co-culture application (10 mL per experimental unit to complete 160 mL in two months) at 8.0 Log10 CFU mL-1 twice a week for two months increased A. cepa total dry weight (69 ± 13 mg) compared with total dry weight (38 ± 5.0 mg) obtained with the control with water.Somatic mutations of the estrogen receptor 1 gene (ESR1) is an emerging mechanism of acquired resistance to endocrine therapy in hormonal breast cancers. Hotspot point mutations in the ligand- binding domain of estrogen receptor α (ER) and genomic rearrangements producing ESR1 fusion genes are the two major types of mutations that are associated with endocrine resistance. The crosstalk between X-box binding protein 1 (XBP1), a key transcription factor of the unfolded protein response (UPR) and ER signalling creates a positive feedback loop that results in increased expression of XBP1 in ER-positive breast cancer. Here we report that XBP1 co-operated with point mutants (Y537S, D538G) and fusion mutants (ESR1-YAP1, ESR1-DAB2) of ESR1 to increase their transcriptional activity. XBP1 was required for optimal expression of estrogen-regulated genes, and up to 40% of XBP1-dependent genes were estrogen-responsive genes. Knockdown of XBP1 in genome-edited MCF7 cells expressing Y537S mutant reduced their growth, re-sensitized them to anti-estrogens and attenuated the constitutive and estrogen-stimulated expression of estrogen-regulated genes.
