### **6. Abhishekam of Shiva Linga**
Begin the puja by conducting ritual bathing of the Shiva Lingam with a mixture of five sacred substances (doodh, yogurt, honey, ghee, and sugar). Proceed this by offering Gangajal over the idol while chanting "Om Namah Shivaya."
### **7. Presenting Bel Leaves and Other Items**
Following ritual bathing, carefully wipe the Lingam and smear Chandan on it. Offer Bilva leaves in triplets, as they are believed to be dear to Lord Shiva. Furthermore, place flowers, fruits, mithai, and nariyal as prasad.
