- I believe that cooperating all of these subjects can help to build the future. - What does this mean?
Math is in data, we use it to scrape numbers from a little thing such as the product of a store most bought to a big thing such as police brutality. There are data analyst that work on what type of graphs can be used to show the main point or difference. Finally, as a tool we would use technology, it can be pasted on a website, shared to communicate this message from a house in Brooklyn to China or Europe.
We use it to analyze what people view now, what can change and how. - Why does this matter? How does this really effect change?
Data analyst collect the data on what people are buying, viewing, and doing. This is important because even though everyone is different, there is Big Data to find out what people are thinking. It recommends you related things to what an individual may press on. This effects change because we can use it to see, okay, how many people are going to college. Exposing data will create change. People may realize how little people are moving forward, how much more money they are receiving, how many women are sliding into man dominated environments. Grabbing numbers and showing them will influence, motivate, and may anger people but it is the idea of doing something about those numbers.
Technology also is obviously dominating, but it needs to be used as a tool instead of a distraction, for communication and expressing a voice, artist side, and to help others. - How is a distraction and give an example of how it used in a constructive way. Why does this matter?
A distraction meaning, wasting peoples time in developing more social medias that have people be influenced to think a certain way, look a certain way, or talk about nonsense. "Makeup, body, shoes, games, music" "I need to lose weight to look like this model" "Kim Kardashian" It is wasting our time! The media is only controlling our mindsets instead of pushing us to improvement or to fight for what you believe in. Games too! Even if it for relaxation, some students lay all summer playing on their devices rotting their minds, decreasing their test scores, and wasting life experience. This matters because it is mostly affecting the youth, and it is the next generation. They will be your future as well, people pass away and others come into their positions as doctors, lawyers, cops... But what if the youth is wasting their summers, vacation, playing crossy road instead of gaining money and connections to make it to a career path. Those who benefit from having technology need to use it, if there is no way of getting out of the house, why isn't there games that is used to have the brain muscles to move and gain skills. Learning how to make websites, an app for free that the youth can use to read books. I know it may be rough for people to adjust to and sound boring, but the media influences us in the wrong direction, why can't it just turn and move another direction. Have celebrities travel and build schools, buildings for jobs, and have that be posted instead. Things need to change because there is a lot of wonderful things anyone can do, yet it is not done yet because not much are trying or sharing it.
