Why do people discriminate against each other? Well one of the main reasons why people discriminate against others is that people have their beliefs on certain things or people have certain ways you’re supposed to do things and if you’re not doing what a majority of people are doing your known as different and and known as outlier to society.
If you’re a different race or you have different style your sticking out to others your not the same and sometimes people believe everyone should be the same. Due to religion or stereotypes when people take stereotypes too far they start discriminating almost anyone even against others that fit into their own “category”. People can discriminate by “Words, actions physical conduct these are just some of the ways people can hurt these different people.These people are treated differently in all aspects of life, For example in 'All Summer in a day" the kids treat Margoe differently and end up locking in a closet because she knew about the sun. Society can seek to dispel discrimination, for example we passed the americans with disability act of 1992 which protects the rights of the handicapped. Also some people just discriminate for fun. Also sometimes when people don’t understand a person they would judge them before getting to know them for who their true self’s are. Which is also being discriminating. Discrimination is a form of bullying and bullying is not tolerated. When you judge someone you are making them feel down and different (and not in the good way). They feel left out so before you say something think about the other person’s feelings to. I mean if you’re being discriminating the person you are “making fun of” might not love themselves for who they are and they might change and not want to, But feel like they have to. They might turn into hermits and not have any self love anymore. Which is horrible.
