Reasoning Evaluation of Arrhythmia Induced by Pacemaker Specific Characteristics - An Educational Display.
This survey was conducted in Ireland using 653 measurements and a representative sampling strategy to provide a baseline population weighted radon exposure for future comparisons. This study estimates the average population weighted indoor radon concentration in Ireland to be 97.83 Bq m-3 (95% Confidence Interval 90.69 Bq m-3 to 105.53 Bq m-3), and that there are an estimated 350 lung cancer cases and 255 deaths per year due to radon exposure. The mortality rate of 5.3 per 100,000 due to indoor radon, demonstrates that radon remains one of the highest preventable causes of death in Ireland.
Identification of sentinel node (SN) metastases can set the adjuvant systemic therapy indication for patients with stage III melanoma. Studies re-evaluating the diagnosis of initially positive SN biopsies are scarce.

Dutch patients with melanoma who underwent SN biopsy between 2003 and 2014 were selected from PALGA, the Dutch Pathology Registry. Histopathological slides of SN-positive patients were retrieved for review. A random sample was reassessed by an expert melanoma pathologist. Recurrence-free survival (RFS) of patients who were misclassified (false-positive) was compared with those with a true positive SN status. For comparison, a group of SN-negative patients was included. Multivariable logistic analysis was performed to assess clinicopathological characteristics associated with misclassification of SN status.

To introduce our experience of laparoscopic uterovaginal anastomosis and operative outcomes following this technique and update the clinical management of congenital cervicovaginal atresia.

Between March 2015 and January 2019, twenty-three patients with congenital cervicovaginal atresia underwent laparoscopic uterovaginal anastomosis and Luohu procedure. Their clinical characteristics, surgical outcomes and follow-up data were retrospectively reviewed.

The mean ± SD age of the cases was 16.4 ± 4.0 (11-26) years. All patients had a history of primary amenorrhea and cyclical abdominal pain, and the average delay in diagnosis from first symptoms was 33.5 ± 38 (1-156) months. Most of the patients had 1-3 cm long vaginal pouch. The operative procedure lasted 125 ± 32 (80-190) min. The average vaginal length at 1 month was 7.9 ± 1.3 (range 6-9) cm. All patients showed resumption of menstruation. The patients were followed for a mean of 27 ± 13 (12-56) months. During the follow-up, cervical stenosis did not occur in any of the cases.
