Tentang: Hogwarts Academy
• Hogwarts adalah sebuah sekolah sihir yang terletak di Skotlandia. Sekolah ini menerima murid dari Skotlandia, Inggris, Irlandia, Irlandia Utara, dan Wales.
• Kastil Hogwarts terletak di pegunungan dekat sebuah danau—black lake—yang dilintasi oleh murid-murid baru ketika mereka pertama kali datang.
• Letak persis dari sekolah ini tidak bisa diketahui karena termasuk sebagai kawasan Unplottable—sebuah kawasan sihir yang disembunyikan, entah dengan cara menyembunyikannya dari pandangan biasa ataupun menghapus lokasinya dari peta. Penyembunyian lokasi ini juga dilakukan oleh sebagian besar sekolah sihir untuk melindungi diri dari berbagai masalah yang dapat timbul.
• Bagi para Muggle sendiri, kastil Hogwarts terlihat seperti sebuah kastil yang terabaikan di pegunungan.
• Hogwarts Academy didirikan sekitar tahun 1000M oleh Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw, dan Helga Hufflepuff.
• Lambang Hogwarts menunjukkan maskot dan warna khas dari masing-masing asrama, dengan moto Draco Dormiens Nunquam Titillandus yanf artinya jangan membangunkan naga yang tidur.
