Elder T.E Oyakhilome his father was one of the founders and leaders of the Assemblies for Jesus Christ Church in Benin City. He was indeed an inspiration to his firstborn son Pastor Chris. Growing up in a Christian home is a blessing.

We know the joy his late father must have felt watching his firstborn son to spread the Gospel message that Jesus Christ is our Savior. His father's efforts must have had a profound impact on young Chris Oyakhilome. At the age of nine, he began his first crusade.

Chris Oyakhilome lives his promise of paying tribute to your parents. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is a fervent Christian since when he was a kid. He led prayer groups at university and preached sermons for millions.

Pastor Chris honored his mother Angelina as she celebrated her 80th birthday with a special celebration in Benin.

Her beauty and grace are what have been called her the "quintessential mother" She is a loving grandmother, mother and mother-in law who has impressed her love of God on her son.

Super Siblings

Angelina Oyakhilome, Tim Oyakhilome, had two additional children. Reverend Ken the brother of Pastor Chris is fondly referred to as Reverend Ken. He is an accomplished pastor of Christ Embassy's Houston Branch. His wisdom has changed many lives. He is also a part of Christ Embassy Central Executive Council.

Katty Worghiren, Pastor Chris's sister is the director of LoveWorld Music & Arts Ministry. Katty Worghiren was an early participant in the choir. Oyakhilome Her songwriting talents have earned her the status of one of the most beloved LoveWorld singers. She wrote the anthem "I Believe in Nigeria".

Katty creates the Believers' LoveWorld Anthem's final, poignant paragraph. Katty then adds this message to highlight the importance and the love of the Christian family.

Pastor Chris and his wife Anita have two beautiful daughters. Even though he and Anita the ex-wife of his might have decided to break up their marriage, they remain in love with their daughters, Carissa Sharon and Charlene. They both reside in London.


Pastor Chris's daughter Sharon was an emerging superstar in the world of gospel music. Sharon is well-known through her initials CSO. She was inspired by her father and composed the award-winning “Holy Spirit” which is a testimony to her deeply held Christian faith. She is an inspirational leader of the Global Youth Leaders Forum, and hosts many shows on its online channels.

Phillip Frimpong and her recent wedding were among the most breathtaking photographs of Africa. She expressed her love for Phillip Frimpong in an intimate Instagram post:

"YES! "YES!" to my best friend. The most amazing and dearest of my friends... I am blessed to have said "Yes" over and over.

The wedding was as meaningful as it was gorgeous. Charlene was her main bridesmaid. It's difficult not to be moved by the love of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his family.
