20 new Andrena types from little-visited dry, Mediterranean sea, and also tremendous mountain areas of that old Entire world (Hymenoptera: Andrenidae).
Mechanical compatibility with the human dentin is a considerable issue when fabricating dental fiber posts. To this purpose, this study introduces a new method of fabricating compatible dental posts using braiding techniques of thermoplastic fibers (matrix) with glass fibers (reinforcement). Fifty fiber-reinforced composite (FRC) posts of thermoplastic yarns polypropylene (PP) braided with continuous filaments glass fibers (GFs) for reinforcement, varying in fiber volume fraction (FVF), and core types are fabricated and tested. Posts are performed using a braiding machine, and braids are placed in an aluminum mold. The filled mold is playced inside an oven at the melting temperature of the polypropylene to produce the final post's shape. An ultrasonic test is conducted to measure the shear modulus and Young's modulus of FRC post specimens by measuring the velocities of both the P-wave and S-wave. In order to ensure the accuracy of the measurements, each sample is measured three times, and then the means and standard deviations of each sample are calculated before analyzing the test results using the means of two steps, namely, clustering and comparing the P and R² values of each cluster, which revealed that FVF, fiber mass, and core type of the specimen had a significant effect on the resulted Young's and shear modulus. The results indicate that the proposed method can fabricate competitive dental posts with regard to different fabricating variables. The samples show Young's modulus ranges of from 10.08 GPa to 31.83 GPa. The following tested hypothesis is supported the braiding technique of thermoplastic fibers with glass fibers will improve the mechanical compatibility of the resulting posts (ex vivo).A central authority, in a conventional centralized energy trading market, superintends energy and financial transactions. The central authority manages and controls transparent energy trading between producer and consumer, imposes a penalty in case of contract violation, and disburses numerous rewards. However, the management and control through the third party pose a significant threat to the security and privacy of consumers'/producers' (participants) profiles. The energy transactions between participants involving central authority utilize users' time, money, and impose a computational burden over the central controlling authority. The Blockchain-based decentralized energy transaction concept, bypassing the central authority, is proposed in Smart Grid (SG) by researchers. Blockchain technology braces the concept of Peer-to-Peer (P2P) energy transactions. This work encompasses the SolarCoin-based digital currency blockchain model for SG incorporating RE. Energy transactions from Prosumer (P) to Prosumer, Energy District to Energy District, and Energy District to SG are thoroughly investigated and analyzed in this work. A robust demand-side optimized model is proposed using Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to maximize Prosumer Energy Surplus (PES), Grid revenue (GR), percentage energy transactions accomplished, and decreased Prosumer Energy Cost (PEC). Real-time averaged energy data of Australia are employed, and a piece-wise energy price mechanism is implemented in this work. The graphical analysis and tabular statistics manifest the efficacy of the proposed model.Glutamate, the major excitatory neurotransmitter, plays a ubiquitous role in most aspects of normal brain functioning. Its indispensable position is paradoxically doubled by a high excitotoxic potential following disruption of its dynamic equilibrium. Several lines of evidence have suggested the involvement of the glutamatergic N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor (NMDAR) in learning, memory formation, and human cognition. Furthermore, NMDARs play a pivotal role in various neuropsychiatric disorders, recently being identified as an important locus for disease-associated genomic variation. The GRIN2A gene encodes the NMDAR's GluN2A subunit. Genetic alterations of GRIN2A result in phenotypic pleiotropy, predisposing to a broad range of epilepsy syndromes, with an elusive and unpredictable evolution and response to treatment. The archetypal GRIN2A-related phenotype comprises the idiopathic focal epilepsies (IFEs), with a higher incidence of GRIN2A mutants among entities at the more severe end of the spectrum. We report the case of a patient heterozygous for GRIN2A, c.1081C>T, presenting with febrile convulsions and later superimposed atonic seizures, expressive language delay, and macrocephaly. As the number of reported GRIN2A variants is continuously increasing, the phenotypic boundaries gradually grow faint. Therefore, it is fundamental to maintain an acute critical awareness of the possible genetic etiology of different epilepsy syndromes. So far, therapeutic strategies rely on empirical observations relating genotypes to specific drugs, but the overall success of treatment remains unpredictable. Deciphering the functional consequences of individual GRIN2A variants could lead to the development of precision therapeutic approaches for patients carrying NMDAR mutations. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of healthcare workers and their professional quality of life. This quantitative cross-sectional study aims at exploring the professional quality of life, work engagement, and self-care of healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic in Ecuador. A convenience sample of 117 participants completed an online voluntary and anonymous survey between April and July 2020. Wnt-C59 mouse It contained a sociodemographic section, the Professional Quality of Life questionnaire V, the work engagement scale, and the scale of self-care behaviors for clinical psychologists. Results show that healthcare workers have an average quality of life with high levels of compassion satisfaction and average levels of compassion fatigue and burnout. Data also indicate that the sample frequently engaged in self-care practices and had high levels of work engagement. The regression analyses reveal that gender, the number of patients per week, the perceived fairness of the salary, among other variables are possible predictors of professional quality of life, frequency of self-care practices, and engagement.
