1. Bell's palsy adalah kelumpuhan pada salah satu saraf wajah yang menyebabkan wajah tampak seperti melorot.
2. Berbeda, karena Bell's palsy tidak diikuti dengan kelumpuhan anggota gerak lainnya, hanya bagian saraf wajah saja dan penyababnya belum dapat diketahui secara pasti. Sedangkan stroke merupakan kelumpuhan anggota gerak yang diakibatkan karena penyakit darah tinggi biasanya.
3. - kehilangan sensasi rasa pada lidah, seperti tertutupi sesuatu
- wajah menjadi mencong (miring) satu sisi
- kelopak mata tidak dapat menutup bola mata pada sisi yang lumpuh
- gerakan bola mata pada sisi yang lumpuh tidak bergerak secara normal
4. Mengompres bagian yang kaku dengan air hangat dan berobat ke dokter
