People wondered if anyone was home or if the whole thing ran on a haunted server, because support ticket responses came so slowly.

Crypto exchanges, frequently euphoric but also terrifying, frequently went from celebration to warning. One user said, "My balance was wiped out instantly!" and their rage bled through the keyboard.
