Armando Dippet
Armando Dippet merupakan salah satu Kepala Sekolah Hogwarts. Lahir pada bulan Oktober tahun 1637, Dippet menjabat sebagai Kepala Sekolah di tahun 1940-an. Pada saat Dippet menjabat, di tahun 1942-1943— kamar rahasia pertama kali dibuka oleh seorang murid bernama Tom Riddle. Dan pada tanggal 13 Juni di tahun yang sama, seorang siswi bernama Myrtle Warren dibunuh di kamar mandi. Ayah dan Ibu Myrtle dipanggil ke sekolah oleh Dippet, dan Kepala Sekolah menghadapi kemungkinan menutup sekolah.
Tidak ingin sekolah ditutup ( atau mungkin tidak ingin kembali ke panti asuhan ), Riddle berhenti menyerang siswa-siswa. Yang disalahkan atas kejadian itu adalah Hagrid. Akhirnya, Dippet mengusir Hagrid. Namun, atas permintaan Dumbledore, Hagrid dilatih sebagai Gamekeeper dan diizinkan untuk tetap berada di sekolah. Sepertinya saat itu orang-orang tidak mengetahui siapa pelaku sebenarnya. Dippet menyukai Tom Riddle, tanpa mengetahui sisi jahatnya. Dippet berhenti menjadi kepala sekolah antara Maret 1965 / Maret 1971 dan digantikan oleh Albus Dumbledore. Rita Skeeter pernah menerbitkan biografi laris berjudul Armando Dippet: Guru atau Moron.
