Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD) is a rare, multisystemic histiocytic disorder, and commonly manifesting as lymphadenopathy in the young male. Abdominal manifestations of RDD are extremely rare.

The conventional infrapatellar approach to intramedullary nailing of tibial fractures adopts the supine high-flexion knee position. The present study was a retrospective analysis of 112 patients who sustained closed tibial shaft fractures and treated with intramedullary nailing via the infrapatellar approach. Patients were divided into two groups according to surgical position lateral or supine. The demographic and clinical data were collected and analyzed.

This study evaluated the analgesic efficacy and systemic effects of PAI containing a corticosteroid in patients subjected to THA.

This single-center, retrospective cohort study enrolled patients undergoing unilateral, primary THA. A total of 197 patients (200 hips) were included in the final analyses, with 87 hips in the PAI group and 113 hips in the control group. Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) and laboratory data were assessed preoperatively and on postoperative days (POD) 1 and 7. Pearson's correlation coefficients were obtained to assess the correlations between the D-dimer level on POD 7 and each outcome measure on POD 1.

Among our sample, 14.2% of women had experienced period poverty ever in the past-year; an additional 10% experienced it every month. Compared to those who had never experienced period poverty, adjusted analysis revealed that women with monthly past-year period poverty were the most likely to report moderate/severe depression (AOR = 2.34, 95% CI 1.09-4.99), followed by those who had experienced it ever in the past year (AOR = 1.83, 95% CI, 0.99-3.38).
