35 to 0.61), or between male and female patients (pooled SMD = 0.19, 95% CI - 0.12 to 0.50).The study was registered in the International Prospective Register of Systematic Reviews on April 28, 2020 (CRD42020175708).The indiscriminate use of glyphosate is one of the main agricultural practices to combat weeds and grasses; however, its incorrect application increases soil and water contamination caused by the product. This situation is even more critical due to its great versatility for use in different cultivars and at lower prices, making it the most used pesticide in the world. Nevertheless, there is still a lack of in-depth studies regarding the damage that its use may cause. Therefore, this review focused on the analysis of environmental impacts at the soil-water interface caused by the use of glyphosate. In this sense, studies have shown that the intensive use of glyphosate has the potential to cause harmful effects on soil microorganisms, leading to changes in soil fertility and ecological imbalance, as well as impacts on aquatic environments derived from changes in the food chain. This situation is similar in Brazil, with the harmful effects of glyphosate in nontarget species and the contamination of the atmosphere. Therefore, it is necessary to change this scenario by modifying the type of pest control in agriculture, and actions such as crop rotation and biological control.Recent studies have hypothesized that the stereotypical representation of the body may reflect some functional aspects of routine actions that are performed in specific peripersonal domains. For example, the lower and upper limbs tend to 'act' in different peripersonal spaces and perform different functions. The present study aims to directly investigate the relationship between body representation and the spatial context where actions are performed. By means of a modified version of the body image task, we investigated body representation before and after a sorting task training in two groups of participants who were asked to carry out the same task/actions in two different spaces on a table or on the floor, while sitting on a chair. Findings showed that a significant recalibration of the perceived upper arms' length occurred when participants were asked to perform a motor task on the floor. These results seem to suggest that the modulation of the body representation reflects an increase action capabilities driven by the contribution of motor training, and importantly, the location in which the action occurs. Furthermore, the modulation was not limited to the body part actively involved in the action (the arms), it extended to other upper body parts (the torso) to maintain, we propose, a functionally coherent representation of the upper body.
To determine the difference between the attempted and the achieved postoperative refractive error after sutureless intrascleral fixation of the haptics of an implanted intraocular lens (IOL).
This was a retrospective study of the medical charts of patients who had undergone sutureless intrascleral fixation of an IOL. UNC0642 ic50 The IOLs were fixed by inserting the haptics into scleral tunnels with or without flanges. The differences between the attempted and achieved postoperative refractive error (spherical equivalent) were determined. The relationships between the surgical options and the differences of the refractive error and degree of astigmatism were also determined.
Two hundred and twenty-three eyes were studied. There was a myopic shift of - 0.38 ± 1.13 diopters (D). The mean of the differences between the achieved postoperative and the attempted refractive error was 0.89 ± 0.79 D. The achieved refractive error was significantly correlated with the attempted refractive error (P < 0.001, R
= 0.631). The surgical procedures selected were not significantly associated with the differences between the attempted and achieved refractive error. The size of sclerocorneal incision and presence of sutures were significantly associated with the final degree of astigmatism (P = 0.006 and 0.008, respectively).
The postoperative refractive error was significantly correlated with the attempted refractive error after intrascleral fixation of an IOL. The wound construction was associated with the postoperative degree of astigmatism.

To report the long-term changes of the size of myopic choroidal neovascularization (mCNV) using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA).
This was a retrospective, observational case study of eleven eyes in eleven patients with mCNV followed with OCTA for a minimum of 3years. The flow area of mCNV on OCTA, the size of chorioretinal atrophy (CRA) and central choroidal thickness were analyzed. The relationship between the changes of mCNV size and recurrences treated with anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) agents was also assessed.
Three eyes out of eleven eyes showed enlargement of the mCNV over 3years. In two of the three eyes, the mCNV recurrences had not been treated immediately (the examination intervals were 4months and 5months, respectively), and we found obvious enlargement of the mCNV. In three eyes, the mCNV size decreased in 1year and was stable thereafter without recurrences. In five eyes, mCNV size did not show remarkable changes for 3years. In three of the five eyes, no recurrences were detected and two of the five eyes underwent prompt treatments against recurrences.
Regular examination and prompt treatments against recurrences are critical to prevent enlargement of mCNV.

Enlarged optic disc cupping and interocular cup-to-disc ratio (CDR) asymmetry are often important indicators of glaucoma. Clinically, we occasionally encounter children with large CDR and interocular CDR asymmetry during vision screening. This study aimed to report longitudinal change of ocular parameters in children with large cup-to-disc ratio (CDR) and interocular CDR asymmetry.
This was a retrospective, observational case series of 160 eyes of 160 children with large CDR who visited a tertiary eye center from January 2010 to June 2016. Average CDR ≥ 0.6 were considered large CDR values, and CDR asymmetry was defined as an interocular difference ratio value greater than 0.2. All included patients showed interocular pressure (IOP) < 21mmHg at least three ophthalmic examinations conducted at total intervals of at least 30months.
The mean age of children included in the study was 7.14 ± 2.42years, with a follow-up period of 54.46 ± 19.82months. Changes in refractive error and axial length were significantly different between initial and final examination (p < 0.
