How to Attract Woodpeckers to Your Yard With a Woodpecker Birdhouse
Woodpeckers eat insects, berries, nuts and seeds they find on trees and shrubs or at bird feeders. They also excavate cavities in trees and logs to nest in and use man-made cavities, like those found in birdhouses, as roosts in winter.
