Re-thoracotomy due to bleeding was necessary in only one patient and no bleeding was related to the proximal anastomosis. The postoperative drainage was 390.5 ± 229.3 mL. During follow up, the echocardiography showed the normal sinus of Valsalva and aortic valvular function. Computed tomography angiography showed normal aortic root without endovascular leak or dissection around the sinus of Valsalva. All patients were free from reoperation.
"Sleeve" Sinus of Valsalva repair with Dacron patch for aortic dissection limited to the non-coronary sinus or partial left and right coronary sinus without involvement coronary artery ostia was technically feasible and safe.

We aimed to evaluate the clinical outcomes of concomitant tricuspid annuloplasty (TAP) in patients undergoing totally endoscopic mitral valve surgery.
It is a single-center, retrospective study that enrolled a total of 173 patients who underwent mitral valve surgery combined with tricuspid annuloplasty between January 2019 and June 2020 in our institution. Patients who underwent totally endoscopic mitral valve surgery with concomitant tricuspid annuloplasty were categorized into the MIMVS-TAP group (N = 51), and patients who underwent mitral valve surgery with concomitant tricuspid annuloplasty through a median sternotomy were categorized into the MVS-TAP group (N = 122). The data collected included detailed demographic and perioperative data. Each patient in the MIMVS-TAP group was individually matched to a patient in the MVS-TAP group, using the propensity scores, and we obtained a matched sample of 51 patients in each group. Parametric and nonparametric tests were used to analyze outcomes.
There were no differences in death rates or related major adverse events between the two groups after propensity score matched analysis. The total operation time was longer in the MIMVS + TAP group versus the MVS+TAP group, as were the mean duration of cardiopulmonary bypass time and the cross-clamp time. The mean duration of intensive care unit stay was longer in the MVS + TAP group compared with that of the MIMVS + TAP group, as was the duration of post-operative hospital stay.
Totally endoscopic mitral valve surgery with concomitant tricuspid annuloplasty can improve a patient's prognosis, with comparable short-term outcomes to those of the open approaches.

To explore the feasibility, safety, and efficacy of 1-stop treatment of percutaneous left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO) combined with coronary intervention for patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (AF) complicated with coronary heart disease (CHD).
We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 6 patients with AF combined with CHD admitted from Zhuhai People's Hospital from April 2017 to June 2018. After the operation, all patients were treated with aspirin (100 mg qd) and clopidogrel (75 mg qd) for 1 year, which is considered long-term use of aspirin/clopidogrel. The effects of LAAO and coronary intervention were evaluated immediately. The location of the left atrial appendage occluder, thrombosis, residual leak, and clinical manifestations were observed during the 90-day follow-up. The patients were implanted with Watchman™ devices and coronary stents. After the operation, the immediate sealing effect was satisfactory. The Watchman occluder was used in accordance with the PASS principle (position, anchor, size, seal), and the coronary intervention was satisfactory. During the operation, there were no device-related thrombosis, tamponade, or vascular complications. Follow-up results showed that in the 6 patients, there were no hemorrhagic strokes, worsening heart function, residual leakage, device-related thrombosis, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, skin ecchymosis, gastrointestinal bleeding, or cerebral hemorrhage.
For patients with nonvalvular AF combined with CHD, the safety and feasibility of 1-stop treatment with left atrial appendage and coronary intervention are reliable, and the curative effects were also satisfactory at short- and medium-term follow-up.

Minimally invasive mitral valvuloplasty was performed. Six months after surgery, he presented with discomfort. Urgent coronary angiography showed a normal coronary artery and large left ventricular aneurysm. CDK inhibitor drugs After atypical Takotsubo cardiomyopathy was diagnosed, his clinical symptoms and heart function were improved with medication for his persistent left ventricular aneurysm. After 24 hours, Hotler showed a lethal ventricular arrhythmia. Surgical treatment was recommended and refused. After four years of observation, he died of asystole. Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is considered a severe complication after surgery. The prognosis is very poor if it has catastrophic complications.
Infective endocarditis (IE) is a heterogenous infection that affects the endothelial surface of the intracardiac structures and other implanted intracardiac devices. We aimed to compare demographical characteristics, causative microorganisms, treatment, and prognosis of prosthetic and native valve endocarditis diagnosed in two separate hospitals.
Between 2010 and 2020, patients admitted with the diagnosis of IE were retrospectively included in our multicenter study. Patients' demographic and epidemiological data, clinical characteristics, infected intracardiac structure and sort of valve, culprit microorganisms, laboratory findings, treatment manifestations and in-hospital outcomes with a period of 6 months were obtained from an electronic medical record system.
A total of 173 consecutive patients had diagnosed IE, 60.1% (104 patients) of them native valve endocarditis (NVE) and 39.8 % (69 patients) of them prosthetic valve endocarditis (PVE). Baseline demographic properties were not different except hypertension and atrial fibrillation.
