However, future operations on the neoaorta may be required due to dilation. We present a case of a 25-year-old female who presented with dilation of her neoaorta and required a David procedure. Her previous ASO resulted in an anterior lie of the pulmonary artery in front of the neoaorta, with both coronary arteries coming off anteriorly. We describe our approach to performing a David procedure on this patient with this unique anatomy.
To determine the maternal and neonatal outcomes of pregnant women with COVID-19 infection.
A cohort study was conducted on 56 pregnant women with COVID-19 and 94 healthy pregnant women during the COVID-19 epidemic in Iran. Two groups were followed until childbirth. Demographic and obstetric information, clinical symptoms, laboratory and radiographic findings of the patients, and maternal and neonatal outcomes of the two groups were gathered by a checklist. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 16. A Pvalue <0.05 was considered significant.
The two groups were similar in terms of maternal age, gravida, parity, and co-morbidities (P>0.05). The rate of cesarean delivery in the exposed group was higher than that in the control group (P=0.027; relative risk [RR]=2.23). Pre-eclampsia was seen in 19.8% of the exposed group and 7.4% of the control group (P=0.037; RR=2.68). The rate of preterm labor in the exposed group was higher than that in the control group (P=0.003; RR=2.70). Fetal distress was seen in 16.1% of the exposed group and 4.3% of the control group (P=0.016; RR=3.84).

Lymphocyte immunotherapy (LIT) emerged in the early 1980s as a new therapeutic proposal for couples with a history of recurrent miscarriages (RM). However, in the early 2000s, the effectiveness of LIT was questioned. Recently, meta-analyses have observed the effectiveness and safety of LIT in treating couples with RM. Some studies evaluated the use of LIT in recurrent implantation failure (RIF) in in vitro fertilization cycles.
This systematic and narrative review evaluated the data available in the literature regarding the efficacy and safety of the use of LIT. Searches in PubMed/Medline, Embase, and Cochrane Library databases were conducted, using the following keywords "recurrent miscarriage," "lymphocyte immunotherapy," and "recurrent implantation failure".
This review describes the historical aspects of LIT and discusses its protocols, mechanisms of action, side effects, complications, and current evidence of the effectiveness in cases of reproductive failure. It also discusses the use of LIT during the COVID-19 pandemic and new immunological therapies.

Here, we study the molecular regulation of the shift from a radiate to a disciform capitulum within the Chrysanthemum group. This is a recently radiating group mainly comprising two genera, Chrysanthemum and Ajania, that are phylogenetically intermingled but distinct in flowerhead morphology Chrysanthemum spp. with radiate capitula and Ajania spp. with disciform capitula. We found that the morphogenesis of zygomorphy in the marginal floret in Ajania was disrupted soon after floral primordium emergence; CYC2g, one of the CYC2 copies that was expressed prominently in the ray floret of Chrysanthemum was not expressed in flowerheads of Ajania. Weakening the expression of ClCYC2g in Chrysanthemum lavandulifolium led to the gradual transition of a ray flower toward the disc-like form. Molecular evolutionary analyses indicated that the disciform capitulum might have evolved only once, approximately 8 Mya, arising from dysfunction of the CYC2g orthologs. A 20-nt deletion, including a putative TATA-box of the Ajania-type CYC2g promoter, appeared to inhibit the expression of the gene. Considering the divergent habitats of Chrysanthemum and Ajania, we propose that the shift from radiate to disciform capitulum must have been related to changes in pollination strategies under selective pressure.
