We believe further research is needed to uncover the various facts about this disease and its associations, in order to make its management more effective. As there is a strong association between PCOS and certain dermatological disorders, it is recommended to develop a questionnaire that should be distributed to every woman who presents to dermatology departments with symptoms that are linked to PCOS, as it will help in diagnosing the condition at an early stage. Copyright © 2020, Sekhon et al.Ovarian Vein Thrombosis (OVT) is an extremely rare and uncommon thrombotic condition commonly attributed to the postpartum period. We report a case of a 30 yr old P2002 who presented with one day history of fever, chills, vomiting, abdominal and left flank pain. Patient had a preterm vaginal birth at 34 weeks gestation, four days prior to her presentation. Patient was febrile on presentation with left CVA tenderness and diffuse abdominal tenderness. Pelvic Ultrasound showed enlarged uterus 14.7cm x 10.9cm x 8.5cm consistent with a postpartum uterus, with heterogeneous endometrium 2.3 cm, no retained products and normal adnexa. CT scan with contrast showed fluid along the anterior aspect of the left anterior kidney, left psoas muscle and extending down to the left side of the uterus and extending to the region of the left renal vein which confirmed left ovarian thrombosis. A CT Chest with contrast and bilateral lower extremity Doppler ruled out pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis, respectively.The patient was admitted, treated with antibiotics and therapeutic dose of low molecular weight heparin (Enoxaparin) and responded well. Patient was discharged home on oral apixaban. The clinical presentation of OVT is non-specific and can be similar to that of acute pyelonephritis. Physicians should have a high index of suspicion in postpartum patients presenting with flank pain and imaging techniques such as MRI, CT scan and ultrasound should be used to help in making the diagnosis. Depending on the severity and degree of hemolysis, some patients may need a more aggressive approach, such as repeated red blood cell (RBC) transfusions, while in others, symptoms may be well-controlled with conservative therapy only using a disease-specific approach. Methods Term of "rotator cuff tear" was entered to the searching bar of YouTube and the first 50 YouTube videos about rotator cuff tear with the highest view counts were recorded and evaluated by two orthopedists. Title of the videos that met the inclusion criteria were recorded. The videos were evaluated with DISCERN and JAMA scoring system, and Video Power Index. Results The mean DISCERN score was calculated as 35.7±8.9, and the mean JAMA score was found as 2.9±0.4. The mean DISCERN score was statistically significantly higher in the physician group compared to the non-physician group. There was a very strong and statistically significant correlation and an excellent compliance between both observers. Conclusion In general, quality of videos published on YouTube about rotator cuff tear was low. Copyright © 2020, Kuru et al.Objective To compare the effect of incentive spirometry with Acapella (Smiths Medical Inc, Carlsbad, California) in physiotherapy after coronary artery bypass surgery. Methods A randomized controlled trial comparing incentive spirometry with Acapella was conducted in the intensive care unit of Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology (CPEIC) Multan. The study began from December 2017 to August 2019 after getting approval from the ethical committee of the hospital. Informed written consent was taken from all 270 patients who were included in the study. Patients who underwent coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) were divided into two groups by the lottery method. The primary end-point of the study was to check the blood gases on Day 3 after the procedure at room air and compare it with the baseline and with blood gases immediately after the procedure. SPSS 23 (IBM Corp., Armonk, NY) was used to analyze the data of this study. Any injury involving the craniovertebral junction such as Jefferson fracture, is a valid cause for alarm due to the complex nature of the craniovertebral junction and the morbidity associated with it. We report the case of a 10-year-old male, who had failure of fusion of anterior arch of atlas due to the failure of formation of the anterior midline synchondrosis, and this mimicked a Jefferson fracture. If it was not for the peculiar absence of any corresponding evidence to suggest spinal injury, we might have mistaken this extremely rare but benign anomaly for a Jefferson fracture and subjected the patient to needless surgical treatment. Hence, it is concluded that keen clinical acumen and clear understanding of the developmental anatomy of these patients may be necessary to adequately manage them. We conducted this prospective study to compare the external fixation and internal fixation of intraarticular fractures of the distal radius in terms of clinical/functional outcome and complications and with the available literature. Material and method This prospective randomized study consisted of a total number of 30 patients with intraarticular fractures of the distal end of the radius divided randomly into two groups (A and B), treated by external fixation (Group A) and volar plating (Group B), in a tertiary care institute during the study period.
