Sözünü söylemiştir.
Osmanlı zamanından kalma çoğu yapıtı imar ettirip onları güzel sa n at atolyesine dönüştürmüştür.
1927 Atatürk müzik ve halk oyunlarını da desteklemiş ve müzik ve halk oyunu etkinliklerine katılmıştı. Zeybek Atatürk’ün en sevdiği ve oynadığı oyundu.
