Rachel was a student of Yuying Secondary School from 2012-2015. During the four years that she was with the school, she had proven herself to be a responsible student. Rachel is a student with an analytical mind who is adept at solving problems. She is confident amongst her peers and highly sociable. Her amicable ways made her easy to work with. This enabled her to be a good team leader who is cooperative and collaborative when the need arises.

Moreover, Rachel is someone who does not give up easily and this has translated to a positive attitude in her work. As a result of her zeal towards her academic work, she obtained the Good Progress Award in 2013 She is someone who continually displays perseverance and determination in her work and never gives up. Whenever daunted with a task, she will strive to complete it to the best of her ability.

In the area of academic work, she often tries her best and can remain focused if she wants to. She has shown effort to learn and this is evident in her attempts at class work and to hand in her assignments. Rachel has shown much effort to learn and this is evident in her attempts to participate during lessons. She displays instances of intellectual capability as she tries to engage in classroom discussion and make some contributions. She also has the potential to produce results, should she put her mind, attention and energies to it.

One of the most memorable community involvement activities she has attended would be the sec 2 beach cleaning at east coast park in which she learnt about being responsible socially. Rachel also participated in a drill competition where she was trained hard and got silver in the end. Through her CCA, girls brigade, she learnt how to be more responsible and takes up leadership skills.

She was nominated to be a squad leader and she was able to bond with her squad members, lead and take up responsibility. She has also awarded with a surpasser award during enrollment and dedication ceremony with her extreme improvement in 1 year.

Rachel has also participated in the community involvement programme where she visited an old folks’ home and sing to the old folks. Through that, she learnt how to take care of others and also bonded with her class.

In 2014, Rachel participated in a Community service learning program where she went to a student care for 4 continuous day. She was ask to teach and look after the students. This enables her to further think of her own interest as to select her courses better. She also learnt about loving one another when others hated you. She also participated in the Chinese-Mathematics Taiwan overseas Immersion programme in 2014 which allowed her to learn more about other cultures and gain much invaluable experiences.

Rachel has the potential to excel in whichever field of her interest. With the positive attitude that she tries to display towards learning and her willingness to learn, she will be able to work well with others and achieve what she sets his mind and energies to.
