Foreign workers apply their cultural intelligence when adapting to and working in multicultural environments, resulting in affiliations with both their cultural heritage and their destination cultural stream. We examined foreign workers' (N = 264) intercultural adaptation in the globalized context of Denmark. We found that cultural intelligence was directly and positively linked with adaptable work performance. Furthermore, cultural intelligence was indirectly and negatively associated with sociocultural adaptation difficulties through endorsement of Danish culture. Likewise, perceived negative context of reception was indirectly and positively associated with sociocultural adaptation difficulties through low endorsement of Danish culture. Additionally, perceived stress predicted adaptable work performance, whereas perceived context of reception and sociocultural adaptation difficulties did not. Overall, our results suggest involvement in the destination culture as a culturally intelligent way of applying one's cultural capabilities, suggesting that the perceived context of reception is of great importance for helping foreign workers adapt to their destination cultural environments.Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by cognitive deficits associated with attention. Prior studies have revealed the potential impact of ADHD on basic perception and cognitive ability in patients with ADHD. In this study, bilateral posterior P1 and N1 were measured in 122 Chinese children aged 7-12 years (64 with ADHD) to investigate the developmental characteristics of early perception during visual processing in school-age children with ADHD. For children with ADHD, a larger P1 activity with an atypical developmental pattern was evoked and observed for the visual search performance. We sought to objectively identify trends in internet search queries on public concerns regarding COVID-19 vaccine side effects on fertility that might impact vaccine uptake. We used Google Trends to investigate queries in Google's Search Engine relating to the coronavirus vaccine and fertility between 10/24/2020 and 1/27/2021. The five most queried terms were identified as 'COVID Vaccine Fertility', 'COVID Vaccine and Infertility', 'COVID Vaccine Infertility', 'COVID Vaccine Fertility CDC', and 'COVID 19 Vaccine Infertility' with an increase of 710.47%, 207.56%, 264.35%, 2,943.7%, and 529.26%, respectively, all p less then .001. This study indicates that there was an increase in online COVID-19 vaccine-related queries regarding fertility side effects coinciding with the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) on December 11, 2020. Our results objectively evidence the increased concern regarding the vaccine and likely demonstrate a major cause for hesitancy in vaccine uptake. Refracted through the disciplinary lens of public health, mothers' alcohol consumption has been the target of numerous messages and discourses designed to monitor and regulate women's bodies and reproductive health. This study explores how mothers negotiated this dilemmatic terrain, drawing on accounts of drinking practices of women in paid work in the early parenting period living in Northern England in 2017-2018. Almost all of the participants reported alcohol abstention during pregnancy and the postpartum period and referred to low-risk drinking practices. A feature of their accounts was appearing knowledgeable and familiar with public health messages, with participants often deploying 'othering', and linguistic expressions seen in public health advice. All pediatric syncope patients referred to our center in a 1-year period, were included in the study. HUTT was performed and patients were classified into two groups of Negative and Positive HUTT results, and the latter group was subclassified as three subgroups of "vasodepressor", "cardioinhibitory" and "mixed type" responses to HUTT. QT and corrected QT (QTc) dispersion was measured by the baseline standard 12-lead ECG obtained before HUTT.

Eighty-six patients with a mean age of 12.19 ± 5.34 were included. Patients with positive HUTT were significantly younger and male gender was more prevalent in this group. Mean QT dispersion was significantly higher in patients with positive HUTT result and also in patients with mixed response to HUTT compared to isolated vasodepressor response.
