This article describes the methodology used for the Pediatric Craniofacial Collaborative Group (PCCG) Consensus Conference.
This is a novel Consensus Conference of national experts in Pediatric Craniofacial Surgery and Anesthesia, who will follow standards set by the Institute of Medicine and using the Research and Development/University of California, Los Angeles appropriateness method, modeled after the Pediatric Critical Care Transfusion and Anemia Expertise Initiative. Topics related to pediatric craniofacial anesthesia for open cranial vault surgery were divided into twelve subgroups with a systematic review of the literature.
A group of 20 content experts met virtually between 2019 and 2020 and will collaborate in their selected topics related to perioperative management for pediatric open cranial vault surgery for craniosynostosis. These groups will also identify where future research is needed.

To test the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the General Work Stress Scale.
Nursing is one of the most stressful professions. The primary measure that should be taken to ensure that nurses can cope with stress is determining their stress levels.
The General Work Stress Scale was translated into Turkish via back-translation. Its reliability and validity were analysed via item analyses, content and construct validities, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses, Cronbach's alpha and Spearman-Brown reliability coefficients. Average and standard deviations of the scale items and the overall scale were calculated.
The study was conducted with 276 nurses. The Cronbach's alpha of the whole scale was 0.91, and the Spearman-Brown reliability coefficient was 0.89. According to the resulting one-dimensional structure, the factor loadings of the scale items were between 0.67 and 0.82, and this structure alone explained 58.72% of the total variance. The confirmatory factor analysis revealed pesing services and units with high stress levels can be taken in a timely manner.
Comprehensively investigating alcohol-related behaviours in the context of a dynamic multi-day alcohol-licensed event is important for understanding and minimising patron risk. We aimed to assess the measurement utility of implementing a multi-dimensional alcohol assessment battery using biometric data collection, real-time drink logs and retrospective self-report measures over the course of a 4-day music festival.
Fourteen adults participated (n = 7 male, mean age 21.9 years). Breath and transdermal alcohol concentration (BrAC and TAC, respectively) were measured using breathalysers and transdermal alcohol bracelets. A real-time drink log was completed via smartphones on initiating each drink, and a retrospective questionnaire was administered up to twice daily throughout the event (6 timepoints total).
While almost all participants (92.9%) logged significantly fewer drinks in real-time than they retrospectively reported via the twice-daily questionnaires, logs provided important contextual informationtion/intoxication over the prolonged drinking session. Inflammation inhibitor However, the marked burden of simultaneous administration should be considered, and measures should be chosen judiciously based on research needs.
To validate the Japanese version of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire-Testicular Cancer 26 in Japanese-speaking testicular cancer survivors.
A total of 200 testicular cancer survivors were recruited at eight high-volume institutions in Japan. The participants completed the Japanese version of the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire-Testicular Cancer 26, the European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer Quality of Life Questionnaire-Core 30 and the International Index of Erectile Function 15 questionnaires. A total of 40 participants completed a retest of the questionnaires 2weeks after the first response. The psychometric properties of the Japanese version including test-retest reliability, internal consistency and concurrent validity were evaluated.
