Finally, I was in the airport Ataturk Hava Yollari. My journey started. When I was in the airport, I felt weird and awkward. Then I saw the way. After passaport control, I walked on the plane. It smelled awful and finally I was on the plane. I was walking down the aisle and looking at the people. I wanted to find a Turkish person. However, I found my spot and sat. I was checking the time, thinking about my family and I heard this voice: a woman was talking about the flight schedule. After that, some guy came to my spot and sat down next to me. He seemed like a good guy and suddenly he said hi and I responded to him.
I was waiting excitedly for takeoff. I heard the voices of people talking. 15 minutes later I heard the voice again, "Yes The plane is ready for takeoff...
When I was in the air, I didn't feel good, not happy. I continually thought about my family, asking myself, "How could I leave them?" This question was killing me. I asked myself the question again and again.
The journey would take 13 hours and I knew that I was going to do 13 hours so I brought my favourite books in my suitcase. When I took out my book, the man said Merhaba to me. At the moment I felt good because he was a Turkish person.
He looked different and old. I had to take my books and I said, "Could I take my books?" and he said, "Okay." After that, I brought my books and sat in my spot.
