Although research suggests distressed individuals benefit from others' empathy, it is unclear how an individual's level of empathy influences dyadic responses during emotional situations. In the current study, female participants (N = 140; 70 dyads) were paired with a stranger. One member of each dyad (the experiencer) was randomly assigned to undergo a stressful task and disclose negative personal experiences to their partner (the listener). Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a hematopoietic stem cell malignancy and the most common type of leukemia, with the 5-year relative survival rate of 19% in Europe. Chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) is a slowly progressive clonal malignant disease, and a myeloproliferative disorder which is derived from biphasic hematopoietic stem cells but driven by progenitor cells. AML following CML is common, which can be caused by an antecedent myeloid malignancy, leukemogenic therapy, or without an identifiable prodrome or exposure to cytotoxic agents. However, the case of secondary chronic myeloid leukemia following acute myeloid leukemia treated with autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is rare.

Here we report a unique case of secondary CML after AML treated by chemotherapy and autologous peripheral blood stem cell transplantation. The 34-year-old male was diagnosed with AML subtype M5b according to clinical features in 2011. The patient was treated with the MAE program (mitoxantrone, cytosine arabinosider AML therapy.Casing pressure measurements and Stereoscopic Particle-Image Velocimetry (SPIV) measurements are used together to characterize the behavior of the rotor tip leakage flow at both the design and near-stall conditions in a low-speed multistage axial compressor. A three-dimensional Navier-Stokes solver is also performed for the multistage compressor and the prediction of tip leakage flow is compared with SPIV data and casing dynamic static pressure data. During the experiment 10 high-frequency Kulite transducers are mounted in the outer casing of the rotor 3 to investigate the complex flow near the compressor casing and Fourier analyses of the dynamic static pressure on the casing of the rotor 3 are carried out to investigate the tip leakage flow characteristics. At the same time, the two CCD cameras are arranged at the same side of the laser light sheet, which is suitable for investigating unsteady tip leakage flow in the multistage axial compressor. The SPIV measurements identify that the tip leakage flow exists in the rotor passage. The influence of tip leakage flow leads to the existence of low axial velocity region in the rotor passage and the alternating regions of positive and negative radial velocity indicates the emergence of tip leakage vortex (TLV). The trajectory of the tip leakage vortex moves from the suction surface toward the pressure surface of adjacent blade, which is aligned close to the rotor at the design point (DP). However, the tip leakage vortex becomes unstable and breaks down at the near-stall point (NS), making the vortex trajectory move upstream in the rotor passage and causing a large blockage in the middle of the passage.Brucella spp. can cause the zoonosis brucellosis, which affects public health and safety and even economic development. In this study, rough phenotype detection and whole genome sequencing methods were used to analyze the genetic features of rough B. melitensis. A drug susceptibility test was also performed. The results showed that the rough B. melitensis strains originated from strains isolated in China rather than from foreign strains. Furthermore, an MS tree showed that 9 complexes to be epidemic in China. For the rough B. melitensis strains, expression of the metabolic function genes varied in the earlier stages of evolution compared to the cellular process and signalling function genes. Expression of some transcriptional regulatory factors also varied in the later stages of evolution, and compared to MFS transporter genes, ABC transporter genes varied in the earlier stages. Moreover, as there was no significant difference in rifampicin, doxycycline and streptomycin susceptibility between the smooth and rough B. melitensis strains, treatment of brucellosis was not affected by strain type. To understand the molecular basis of the potential interaction of SARS-CoV-2 to CD147, we have investigated the binding of the viral spike protein to this receptor in-silico. The results showed that this binding is dominated by electrostatic interactions involving residues Arg403, Asn481, and the backbone of Gly502. The overall binding arrangement shows the CD147 C-terminal domain interacting with the spike external subdomain in the grove between the short antiparallel β strands, β1' and β2', and the small helix α1'.
