Despite the majority of participants rating the importance of PA highly, substantial variability was evident regarding the facilities and clinical support available to them, as well as why and how people were active. There remains a need to identify what constitutes "best practice" for PA promotion within clinics.

Starting from an initial cancer stem cell (i-CSC) as a para-embryonic stem cell (p-ESC), a hierarchic sequence of CSCs (CSC1s, CSC2s, CSC3s) and non-CSCs [cancer progenitor cells (CPCs), cancer differentiated cells (CDCs)] would be generated, mimicking an ectopic rudimentary ontogenesis. Such a proposed heterogeneous cell hierarchy within the tumor structure would suggest a tumor growth model consistent with experimental data reported for mammary tumors. By tabulating the theoretical data according to this model, it is possible to identify defined mathematical relationships between cancer cells (CSCs and non-CSCs) that are surprisingly similar to experimental data. Moreover, starting from this model, it is possible to speculate that, during progression, tumor growth would occur in a modular way that recalls the propagation of tumor spheres in vitro. All these considerations favor a comparison among normal blastocysts (as in vitro embryos), initial avascular tumors (as in vivo abnormal blastocysts) and tumor spheres (as in vitro abnormal blastocysts). In conclusion, this work provides further support for the para-embryonic nature of the cancer process, as recently theorized. Background Impaired bone health is a late effect of childhood malignancies which can be difficult to detect in juvenile survivors. It may, however, lead to compromised quality of life, or even permanent disability later in life due to osteoporosis, pain or fractures if left untreated. mTOR inhibitor Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most frequent childhood malignancy with an over 85% five-year survival. ALL and its treatment cause bone alterations in adults, but little information on the bone health status in juvenile survivors is available. Objective To report data on skeletal late effects in juvenile survivors of childhood ALL based on a comprehensive assessment of bone health and to assess the influence of a vitamin D deficiency on bone health in this cohort. Methods In a single center cross sectional study 128 pediatric patients (11.9 ± 4.76 years) with a mean follow up of 5.88 ± 3.75 years after diagnosis of ALL were recruited. The bone health status of the survivors was assessed based on clinical examination, unts for hyperparathyroidism in some patients but does not seem to further affect bone health in this cohort. Survivors of ALL need thorough surveillance to investigate bone health, since bone morbidity is common and still poorly understood. Early detection and appropriate intervention may improve bone health.
Water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) play an important role in decreasing the morbidity and mortality associated with poor WASH practices. Poor knowledge and awareness lead to an increase in communicable diseases.
To assess and report the core indicators on sanitation and drinking water from urban slums using standardized WHO and UNICEF questionnaires.
The present observational cross-sectional study was conducted for 2 months i.e., from September 2019 to October 2019 in urban slums of Trikuta Nagar, a field practice area of Department of Community Medicine, GMC Jammu. Information was gathered from the head of the household as well as from other household members. About 50% of the population were selected randomly by lottery method i.e., 450 and consist of 112 households. However, at the time of the study, only 100 households were assessed because of the nonavailability of household members and some houses were locked at the time of the interview.
The study revealed that nearly 62% of families were of a joint type and most of the families were headed by male members. Around 82.5% of the slum members used water for drinking from improved source but only 21.5% of the household members used adequate water treatment method i.e., boiling. Besides, about 49.5% of the household members used improved sanitation facilities.
Local administration needs to accelerate the process of supplying piped water connections to the underserved to improve their drinking water sources and also increase access to basic sanitation services at the household level.

The functional role of lung microbiota has attracted an accumulating attention recently, but the profile and functional role of the lung microbiota in patients with lung cancer remained largely unknown.
To evaluate the association of the microbiota with lung cancer, we performed comparative analysis of the lung microbiota using 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing approach in the paired bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) samples (paired samples from cancerous lung and the contralateral non-cancerous lung) from 50 cancer patients with unilateral lobar masses.
We found that the relative abundance of phylum Tenericutes, its class Mollicutes, its order Entomoplasmatales, its family Spiroplasmataceae, and its genus
was significantly increased in cancerous lung, but the relative abundance of phylum Bacteroidetes, its class Bacteroidia, and its order Bacteroidales was significantly decreased in cancerous lung. In addition, the relative abundance of family Leuconostocaceae and its genus
was significantly increased in cancerous lung.
Our findings provide insights into a change of lung microbiota community associated with the development of lung cancer.
