Today, I want to share with you a story from the Bible called The Stolen Cup. Early one morning, Joseph’s brothers were riding out of the city, smiling and happy because their bags were filled with food for their families. But suddenly—shouts rang out behind them! The palace guards were chasing after them. The guards accused them, saying, “Why have you stolen my master’s silver cup?” Shocked, the brothers cried out, “We would never do such a thing! Please, search our bags and you’ll see we are innocent!” The guards looked through each sack of grain, one by one, until finally—they opened Benjamin’s bag. And there it was. The silver cup! The brothers groaned in despair. “Oh no! If Benjamin is taken, our father will surely die of sorrow.” Judah stepped forward, pleading, “Please, take me instead! Let Benjamin go home. I promised my father I would bring him back safely.” Can you imagine the fear and sadness they felt at that moment? This story reminds us about love, sacrifice, and standing up for family even when it’s hard. And that is the story of The Stolen Cup
