Emergency sos is more than a communication tool; it can serve as an essential lifeline in times of trouble or injury on the jobsite. Lone workers particularly rely on it as an essential safety net when they're struggling or injured on the job, and Emergency sos was designed specifically to address such scenarios.
Emergency SOS can be activated three ways. First, press and hold both volume buttons until the Emergency SOS slider appears; or rapidly press five times until a few seconds have elapsed and then tap the slider to trigger Emergency SOS, sending text message with location details and activating camera to record video footage.
Once emergency contacts receive an Emergency SOS text message, they will continue receiving updates for up to 24 hours. Man Down Devices You can stop sharing your location at any time by pressing and holding the side button or tapping on the emergency SOS slider in your phone's Settings; additionally, every 10 minutes an alert will remind you that emergency contacts are receiving these updates.
You can access Emergency SOS on a Pixel phone by going into its Settings and choosing "Emergency SOS." From here you will have several options available to you including calling 911 directly in your current country, sharing your location with emergency contacts, activating loud alarm sounds that should draw attention to the device and creating a three-second countdown before placing any 911 calls so that if necessary they can be cancelled.
