1. Mantra dalam dunia sihir terbagi menjadi 6 bagian, masing-masing bagian memiliki fungsi penting tersendiri. Ada Charm (Mantra Umum), Transfiguration (Mantra Pengubahan), Conjuration (Mantra Pemindahan), Curse (Mantra Kutukan), Jinx (Mantra Pertahanan), Hex (Mantra pembuat rasa sakit dan ketidaknyamanan).
2. Tipe mantra Hex lebih dapat dikendalikan dan sifatnya tidak mematikan, Curse lebih mengarah pada Kutukan atau Pembunuh.
3. Avifors masuk pada Transfiguration Spell yang berarti digunakan untuk mengubah bentuk. Avifors digunakan untuk merubah suatu objek menjadi seekor burung yang hidup. Cara penggunaan mantra ini adalah dengan mengarahkan tongkat kearah objek dengan pelafalan "AVI-forz" yang ditekankan pada kata AVI, dan setelah itu hasil pelafalan mantra akan menghasilkan warna Vivid Blue.
