Juni 2024<br />jeweils um 16:00, 18:00 und 20:00 Uhr<br />Bräunerstraße 5, 1010 Wien<br /> <br />Im Zentrum der performativen Präsentation (Un)documented - Eine (S)kartierung des Verschwindens der Agentur für Unabkömmlichkeitsbegründungen (AGFU) steht die weitverbreitete Sucht nach, der Selbstlegitimierungszwang durch Dokumentation. Vorgänge jedweder Art werden dokumentiert und gehen meist unhinterfragt und unbearbeitet in bestehende Archive ein oder schaffen neue: Ich dokumentiere, also bin ich? Wir dokumentieren, also werden und bleiben wir?<br /> <br />Noch komplexer wird diese Frage im Kontext des Projekts der Agentur für Unabkömmlichkeitsbegründungen: Wie eine fast 3 Jahre dauernde künstlerische Forschung dokumentieren, die sich mit dem selbstgewählten, vorsätzlichen Verschwindenlassen von Archiven beschäftigt, ohne wieder ein Archiv zu kreieren?<br /> <br />Könnte eine solche Dokumentation zB. ein Erste Hilfe-Kurs zur Auflösung, zur Aufhebung von Archiven sein? Eine Handlungsanweisung zur De-Konstruktion? Eine Abandonnage? Oder eine künstlerische Klage auf Archivunterlassung? Ein Handbuch des Verschwindens, eine Karte des Verlassens? Wie sähe ein Format aus, das sich nicht vereinnahmen läßt, das seine eigene Integrität anzweifelt, sich selbst kompromittiert? Ein unzugängliches Unikat, das sich der Massenverbreitung widersetzt? Kein Buch. Als Buch? Keine Dokumentation. Als Dokumentation des Verschwindens?<br /> <br />
