0001). The total number of bond failure was recorded for cohesive B failure/cohesive in the pulp-capping material (14) and adhesive failure (14).
Most of the tested pulp-capping materials bonded to Filtek™ Z350 XT demonstrated clinically acceptable and high SBS. Urbical LC showed the highest SBS while Biodentine® showed the lowest SBS.

To assess the association between probable sleep bruxism (PSB) and other occlusal characteristics in children and teenagers with Cerebral Palsy (CP).
A cross-sectional study was carried out with 148 participants (74 with CP and 74 without special needs) aged between 2 and 14 years old. Participants underwent an oral clinical examination to evaluate the occlusal characteristics. Parents/caregivers filled out a questionnaire with information related to the typical sounds of PSB, sociodemographic factors and the presence of harmful oral habits in the study participants. Data analysis was carried out, using Chi-square or Fisher's exact test and Odds Ratio (p<0.05).
PSB and malocclusion (68.9% and 95.9%, respectively) were more prevalent in participants with CP than in participants without CP. The association between PSB and the presence of a wear facet was statistically significant (p < 0.001) in participants with CP. In this group, 64.8% of participants with PSB presented tooth wear.
Presence of dental wear facets was significantly associated with PSB in individuals with cerebral palsy.

The rapid and extensive spread of CoViD -19 pandemic has become a major source of concern for healthcare system including pediatric dentists. The aim of the present study was to assess the awareness, perception and attitude regarding CoViD - 19 and infection control among Indian pediatric dentists.
A total of 1009 Indian Pediatric dentists completed questionnaire based survey on the awareness, perception and attitude regarding CoViD - 19 infection and its control. Descriptive statistics have been used in the study to analyze the findings. Mean and standard deviation and proportion have been used to estimate the results of the study.
65.75% Indian pediatric dentists had answered questions regarding CoViD - 19 infection correctly. The present survey found a positive perception among Indian pediatric dentist regarding CoViD - 19 and infection control. However the attitude among Pediatric dentist regarding the same was not encouraging.
As the global threat of CoViD-19 continues to emerge, it is critical to improve the awareness, perceptions and attitude of pediatric dentists. Educational interventions are urgently needed to reach pediatric dentists beyond borders, and further studies are warranted.

It is of great clinical significance to discover its mechanisms to improve cell sensitivity to chemotherapeutic drugs. The forkhead box subfamily O (FOXO) transcriptional factors are downstream factors of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase/protein kinase B (PI3K/AKT) pathway and are reported to play pro-apoptotic roles in a variety of cells including NSCLC cells. But their roles and mechanisms in mediating cell response to chemotherapy remain to be discovered. We proposed that FOXO1 and FOXO3a may increase the sensitivity of NSCLC cells to cisplatin. 8-Cyclopentyl-1,3-dimethylxanthine concentration Moreover, we presumed that LY294002, an inhibitor of the PI3K/AKT pathway, may enhance the cytotoxic effects of cisplatin through upregulating FOXO1 and FOXO3a. In the present study, we found that cisplatin initially increased the expressions and nuclear accumulation of FOXO1 and FOXO3a in NSCLC. Knockdown of FOXO1 and FOXO3a significantly decreased the cell sensitivity to cisplatin in vitro and in vivo. Moreover, inhibition of FOXO1 and FOXO3a attenuated cisplatin-induced cell apoptosis independent of Bim, a pro-apoptotic protein downstream of the FOXOs. Moreover, LY294002 synergistically increased the cytotoxic effects of cisplatin. Mechanistically, LY294002 increased the expressions and nuclear accumulation of FOXO1 and FOXO3a. Knockdown of FOXO1 and FOXO3a abrogated the enhancing effect of LY294002 on cisplatin. Taken together, our results suggested that FOXO1 and FOXO3a sensitize NSCLC cells to cisplatin and mediate the enhancing effects of LY294002 on cisplatin.
Optical coherence tomography (OCT)-guided external elastic lamina (EEL)-based stent sizing is safe and as effective as intravascular ultrasound in achieving post-procedural lumen dimensions. However, when compared with automated lumen diameter (LD) measurements, this approach is time-consuming. We aimed to compare vessel diameter measurements and stent diameter selection using either of these approaches and examined whether applying a correction factor to automated LD measurements could result in selecting similar stent diameters to the EEL-based approach.
We retrospectively compared EEL-based measurements vs. automated LD in reference segments in 154 OCT acquisitions and derived a correction factor for stent sizing using the ratio of EEL to LD measurements. We then prospectively applied the correction factor in 119 OCT acquisitions. EEL could be adequately identified in 100 acquisitions (84%) at the distal reference to allow vessel diameter measurement. Vessel diameters were larger with EEL-based vs. LD EL-based measurements, this approach cannot be used clinically due to frequent and potentially hazardous stent over-sizing.SARS-CoV-2 is a betacoronavirus with a linear single-stranded, positive-sense RNA genome, whose outbreak caused the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The ability of coronaviruses to rapidly evolve, adapt, and cross species barriers makes the development of effective and durable therapeutic strategies a challenging and urgent need. As for other RNA viruses, genomic RNA structures are expected to play crucial roles in several steps of the coronavirus replication cycle. Despite this, only a handful of functionally-conserved coronavirus structural RNA elements have been identified to date. Here, we performed RNA structure probing to obtain single-base resolution secondary structure maps of the full SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus genome both in vitro and in living infected cells. Probing data recapitulate the previously described coronavirus RNA elements (5' UTR and s2m), and reveal new structures. Of these, ∼10.2% show significant covariation among SARS-CoV-2 and other coronaviruses, hinting at their functionally-conserved role.
