Game berasal dari Bahasa Inggris yang artinya Permainan. Game atau Permainan bertujuan untuk menghilangkan kejenuhan atau sebagai media hiburan.

Monopoli adalah salah satu permainan papan yang paling dikenal di dunia. Tujuan permainan ini adalah untuk menguasai semua petak di atas papan melalui pembelian, penyewaan dan pertukaran properti dalam sistem ekonomi yang disederhanakan (Wikipedia).
Kenapa saya memilih permainan monopoli?
Karena selain sebagai sarana hiburan, permainan ini juga melatih bagaimana cara menguasai seluruh kotak dalam papan permainan tanpa harus menyewa petak orang lain. Selain itu permainan ini juga memerlukan 'keberuntungan', karena setiap nilai dadu yang keluar akan menentukan petak mana yang akan diduduki selanjutnya.
Dan selanjutnya pada papan permainan juga terdapat petak Dana Umum dan kesempatan yang berisi berbagai perintah yang harus dilaksanakan. Apakah perintah membantu atau menjebak.
