Sigara içen insanların sayısı fazla olmasına rağmen bu sağlık için zararlı maddeyi bir daha tüketmek istemeyen kişilerin sayısı da azımsanmayacak kadar çoktur. Bu numara Bilgi Teknolojileri ve İletişim Kurumu raporu göz alınarak bu yılın ilk 3 aylık bölümünde aranan ilk 5 kısa hatlar arasında yerini aldı. Ocak, Şubat ve Mart aylarında en çok aranan numara ise 112 Acil Yardım İmdat Hattı oldu.
Sigarayı bir daha içmek istemeyen insanların sayısı arttıkça sigara bıraktırma hattı olan 171 kısa numarasını arayan kişi sayısı da arttı. Bu numara 2016 yılının ilk 3 ayında en çok başvurulan ilk 5 kısa numaralar arasına girdi. Yılın ilk çeyreğinde en fazla aranan numara ise diğer yıllarda olduğu gibi 112 Acil Yardım Hattı oldu. Ayrıca 155 Polis İmdat Hattı diğer sık başvurulan numara oldu. 182 Hastane Randevu hattı ise vatandaşların hastanelerden yer ayırtmak için kullandıkları hat oldu ve ayrıca en uzun zaman konuşulan numara olarak kayıtlara geçti. Ortalama görüşme süresi yaklaşık 165 saniye olduğu belirtildi. 171 Sigara Bıraktırma hattıyla konuşulan süre ortalama 95.2 saniye ile gerçekleşti. Türk Telekom tabanlı kartlardan en çok aranan numara 182 hastane randevu hattı oldu. Turkcell ve Vodafone hatlarına sahip kişiler en uzun süre 170 sosyal güvenlik hattı ile görüşme yaptılar.
Kısa numaraları arayan insanların bazıları 171 Sigara Bıraktırma Hattını arayarak bu hattı en çok aranan ilk 5 numara arasına soktu. Diğer en çok başvurulan hatlar ise 112 Acil Servis Hattı, 155 Polis İmdat, 182 Randevu Hattı ve 170 Sosyal Güvenlik Yardım Desteği oldu.
