With an increase in patient demand and a decrease in healthcare professionals, telehealth is able to provide needed services to patients, but appropriate training in telehealth is crucial for providers to deliver excellent patient care.

Nurse researchers developed a quality improvement project targeting telehealth in the graduate nursing curriculum. A two-part evidence-based curriculum was developed for graduate family nurse practitioner (FNP) students. Part one consisted of a lecture that focused on increasing students' knowledge, and part two enhanced skills through simulation.

Data were collected through qualitative and quantitative surveys. The qualitative data were analyzed for themes and statistical analysis of the quantitative data was completed (t-scores and descriptive statistics). Results showed that FNP students perceived the telehealth curriculum as educational and recommend it be continued for future FNP cohorts.

Despite the availability of prophylactic vaccines against the most prevalent oncogenic HPV types, HPV-induced malignancies are still a major health and economic burden. Besides conventional treatment with surgery, chemotherapy and radiation, immunotherapy is emerging as an efficient adjuvant option. Here, we review relevant studies and ongoing clinical trials using immune checkpoint inhibitors, therapeutic vaccines, gene editing approaches and adoptive T cell therapies, with special focus on engineered TCR T cells, which are showing encouraging results and could lead to significant improvement in the treatment of HPV+-infected cancer patients.
To report the case of a patient enduring migraine attacks preceded by hallucinatory olfactory symptoms, with characteristics which typically define migraine with aura (MWA).

MWA accounts for about 30-40% of the total cases of migraine and is almost always preceded by visual disorders; and in rare cases migraine attacks are preceded by olfactory hallucinations which have not been so far recognized as a type of aura.

We describe a 51-year-old male whose migraine attacks are preceded, unusually for migraine sufferers, only by olfactory hallucinations; in 10% of the attacks, the olfactory symptoms are not followed by any pain but always appear with the same characteristics. These hallucinations began with the onset of a history of cephalea.

This case suggests that olfactory hallucinations should be considered as actual pre-migraine symptoms, like visual symptoms or other disorders, and added to the criteria for the diagnosis of MWA.

In this review, we highlight the recent advances in the field of basophil biology with a particular focus on the role of basophils in allergic inflammation. The Duke Myasthenia Gravis (MG) Clinic Registry is a disease-specific database containing physician-derived data from patients seen in the Duke MG Clinic since 1980.

Data from 1060 MG patients initially seen between 1980 and 2008 were reviewed.

Fifty-four percent were male. Symptoms began after age 50 in 66% of males and 42% of females. Peak onset age in males was in their 60's; females had no predominant onset age. Onset age for both sexes increased from 1980 to 2008. Thymoma was present in 8.5%. Weakness was limited to ocular muscles for at least 2 y in 22% and became generalized later in 8.3% of these. Acetylcholine receptor antibodies were present in 78% overall, 82% with generalized MG and 52% with ocular MG (OMG). The distribution of MG disease class was similar in males and females, except that a greater proportion of women experienced myasthenic crisis and men were more likely to have OMG.
