Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians (Indigenous Australians) have poorer mental health compared to other Australians. Yet, there is a lack of research into mental disorders among this population, especially for eating disorders (ED), which are amongst the most lethal and debilitating mental disorders.

We aimed to answer 2 questions 1. What is the volume and content of literature on ED among Indigenous Australians? 2. Has a screening or diagnostic tool/instrument been developed for the assessment of ED amongst Indigenous Australians?

We conducted a scoping review of electronic databases (Pubmeb, Embase, PsychInfo, Proquest, Cochrane Library, Indigenous HealtInfoNet and Scopus), for studies addressing ED, body image, muscle dysmorphia, weight and shape concern among Indigenous Australians, as well as diagnostic and screening tools. All relevant studies were reviewed in full by 2 researchers. Narrative synthesis of the data was performed.

China has mitigated the number of cases due to the mobilization of the whole society and collaborators joining collective efforts and actions in solidarity to tackle and conquer the virus. To date, China has continued to implement actions to control any resurgence of new cases of COVID-19 and keep its population safe. The people's united effort against the virus has enhanced a great insight into China, and it might serve as a model to the global community in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of coordination, solidarity, decisiveness, and leadership.
Unwanted pregnancy is a significant public health problem worldwide. In higher education, students are exposed to the risk of unintended pregnancy, abortion, and its related negative consequences.

The objective of this study was to assess the magnitude of emergency contraceptives and factors associated with its utilization among college female students at Debre Tabor Town, Northwest Ethiopia.

A cross-sectional, institutional-based study was conducted from June to October 2017. A multi-stage stratified sampling technique was applied to select the study participants. Data were cleaned, coded, and entered into Epi info 7 and exported to SPSS version 20 for analysis. A total of 821 respondents participated with a response rate of 97.6%. The finding showed that 33.3% of them h for emergency contraceptive utilization. Therefore, responsible bodies should develop strategies that enhance the knowledge level of students at the college level on the effective utilization of emergency contraceptive methods.
Generic drugs are heavily promoted in Japan. The aim of this retrospective single-center study was to clarify whether the frequency and reason that patients request a switch from a generic drug to the original drug differ according to therapeutic category and dosage form.

This study was performed at Chiba University Hospital. Prescription inquiries about 121 generic drugs from community pharmacies over a 3-year period (from July 2014 to June 2017) were analyzed.

Approximately 30% of the requests were related to the efficacy, safety, and comfort of the generic drug. The most cited motive was "patient's desire with no reason given" at 44.5%. According to multiple logistic regression analysis, therapeutic categories and dosage forms were associated with the requests. The median request frequency differed according to therapeutic category and dosage form. The frequency was highest for "agents affecting the central nervous system" and "tablets and capsules", respectively. Among the therapeutic categories, "adosage form. Pharmacists should advise each patient properly about the choice and switching of drug brands, taking into account the therapeutic category and dosage form, especially liniments and patches.
Central pontine myelinolysis (CPM) is a non-inflammatory demyelinating lesion of the pons. CPM and extrapontine demyelination (EPM) are together termed osmotic demyelination syndrome (ODS), a known and serious complication of acute correction of hyponatremia. Conversely, hyperglycemic hyperosmolarity syndrome (HHS) develops in patients with type 2 diabetes who still have some insulin secretory ability due to infection, non-compliance with treatment, drugs, and coexisting diseases, and is often accompanied by ketosis. HHS represents a life-threatening endocrine emergency (mortality rate, 10-50%) associated with marked hyperglycemia and severe dehydration. HHS may develop ODS, and some cases have been associated with hypernatremia.

The patient was an 87-year-old woman with hyperglycemia, dehydration, malnutrition, and potential thrombus formation during long-term bed rest. HHS was suspected to have developed due to progression of hyperglycemia and dehydration caused by pneumonia. Furthermore, ketoacidosis developed from ketosis and prerenal renal failure associated with circulating hypovolemia shock, which was also associated with disseminated intravascular coagulation.
