0001) and May (P less then 0.0001) and thyroxine reached minimum values (P less then 0.0001) in the same months. During these months, a negative correlation ratio (CR) was found between testosterone concentration and CR-functional membrane (R = - 0.50; P less then 0.0001). CR values for most sperm variables decreased during March-May, coinciding with the presence of maximum testosterone concentrations. In conclusion, high testosterone levels are associated with the worst sperm response to freezing-thawing process. Thyroxine concentrations have a strong seasonal pattern, but there was no relationship to sperm cryoresistance.
Robotic (RTKA) and computer-navigated total knee arthroplasty (CNTKA) are increasingly replacing manual techniques in orthopaedic surgery. This systematic review compared clinical outcomes associated with RTKA and CNTKA and investigated the utility of natural language processing (NLP) for the literature synthesis.
A comprehensive search strategy was implemented. Results of included studies were combined and analysed. A transfer learning approach was applied to train deep NLP classifiers (BERT, RoBERTa and XLNet), with cross-validation, to partially automate the systematic review process.
52 studies were included, comprising 5,067 RTKA and 2,108 CNTKA. Complication rates were 0-22% and 0-16% and surgical time was 70-116 and 77-102min for RTKA and CNTKA, respectively. Technical failures were more commonly associated with RTKA (8%) than CNTKA (2-4%). Patient satisfaction was equivalent (94%). RTKA was associated with a higher likelihood of achieving target alignment, less femoral notching, shorter operative time and shorter length of stay. NLP models demonstrated moderate performance (AUC = 0.65-0.68).
RTKA and CNTKA appear to be associated with similarly positive clinical outcomes. Further work is required to determine whether the two techniques differ significantlywith regard to specific outcome measures. NLP shows promise for facilitating the systematic review process.

This study aimed to test whether the clinical heterogeneity of adolescent depression is related to marginalization from the labor market across early to middle adulthood. Data were drawn from the Uppsala Longitudinal Adolescent Depression Study, a community-based cohort initially assessed with structured clinical interviews at age 16-17. The cohort (n = 321 depressed; n = 218 nondepressed) was followed up after 2+ decades through linkage to nationwide population-based registries. Outcomes included consecutive annual data on unemployment, work disability, social welfare recipiency, and a composite marginalization measure, spanning from age 21 to 40. Longitudinal associations were examined using logistic regression analysis in a generalized estimating equations modeling framework. Subsequent depressive episodes and educational attainment in early adulthood were explored as potential pathways. The results showed that adolescent depression was associated with adult marginalization outcomes, but the strength of association varied across depressed subgroups. Adolescents with persistent depressive disorder had higher odds of all outcomes, including the composite marginalization measure (adjusted OR = 2.0, 95% CI = 1.4-2.7, p less then 0.001), and this was partially (31%) mediated by subsequent depressive episodes in early adulthood. Exploratory moderation analysis revealed that entry into tertiary education mitigated the association with later marginalization, but only for adolescents with episodic major depression. In conclusion, the risk for future labor market marginalization is elevated among depressed adolescents, particularly those presenting with persistent depressive disorder. Targeted interventions seem crucial to mitigate the long-lasting impact of early-onset depression.Heme, a biomolecule with complex structure and unique properties and strong adsorption of oxygen, is utilized as an adsorbing material for haloalkene gas molecules. It has been systematically investigated employing density functional theory. Among the haloalkene gases chosen in the present study, the interaction energy is maximum for CDFM (-10.66 kcal/mol) and lowest for TFM (-5.02 kcal/mol). The calculated bond stabilization energy for heme-haloalkene complexes correlates with findings of interaction energy. The noncovalent interaction between heme and haloalkenes is confirmed from the topological analysis. The energy gap values decrease on adsorption of haloalkenes along with a decrease in reactivity of the complexes. This study investigated the effect of the structured Neurodevelopmental Therapy Method-Bobath (NDT-B) approach on the feeding and swallowing activity of patients with cerebral palsy (CP) and feeding difficulties. In addition to feeding and oral motor intervention strategies (OMIS), and nutrition-related caregiver training (NRCT), and the NDT-B, which was structured to increase trunk and postural control, was added to the therapy program. Forty patients with CP, with a mean age of 3.25 ± 0.927 years, were classified using the Gross Motor Function Classification System, Eating and Drinking Ability Classification System, and Mini-Manual Ability Classification System. The patients were randomly assigned into two groups as OMIS + NRCT (n = 20) and OMIS + NRCT + NDT-B (n = 20). The program was applied for 6 weeks, 2 days/week, for 45 min. Guanosine 5'-triphosphate The patients were evaluated using the Trunk Impairment Scale, Schedule for Oral Motor Assessment, and the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory before and after 6 weeks. The trunk control of the OMIS + NRCT + NDT-B group was superior to the other group (P = 0.026). Although there was an improvement in the groups according to the subcategories of SOMA, the OMIS + NRCT + NDT-B group was superior in the trainer cup and puree subcategories of SOMA (P = 0.05). A significant correlation was observed between trunk control and oral motor functions in children with CP, and the eating function of children in the OMIS + NRCT + NDT-B group further improved. NDT-B-based neck and trunk stabilization exercises should be added to the treatment programs.Trial Registration NCT04403113.
