The more a student uses their phone inappropriately the more harder it is to reinforce rules trying to keep everyone safe and less in trouble. Phones cause others to be unfocused, unsafe, and expression about the school phone policy. Imagine if someone who has the capability about having phone and getting in trouble for not using a phone properly.

Phones in class cause grades and conducts to fluctuate. According to "Could Smartphone Bans Help Students Achieve More?" It says, "In what may not come as a surprise to some, researchers Richard Murphy and Louis-phillippie Beland found that as schools' phone policies evolved since 2001, with some opting to completely ban smartphones, school test scores improved by an average of 6.4 percent. The increase in scores from underachieving students were even more stark as they saw their scores increase by an average of 14 percent." When schools start to ban phones they notice that students are participating, focused, and more clever. The students are able to work better and show that without phones they improve on things they've struggled in the past. When they study or change something in their routine they show better grades than usual or increase more points on a subject. For example in "Turn Off the Cell and Tune In" it says, "There is an epidemic of under-the-desk text messages during class, a virtual economy of exam pictures posted to Facebook a trade in school fight videos on YouTube, they say. To combat it, the county school board voted Thursday to ban cellphones and other electronics during the school day, even as many school systems across the country are loosing their rules." When students are able to use phones they may use it to do stuff that they are not suppose to be doing during tests, independent work to cheat to find answers. The students do this because they have a resource that helps them pass a test but not a class, because they could be caught cheating and face consciousness that they never wanted to face. Phones cause grades to go low because if the student get's caught the grade is 0 for the test and the cause of the behavior they decided to use in the test session. Based on "Turn Off the Cell and Tune In" it says,"( Mobile Phones) promote a certain kind of learning...it's limited," Milman said. "It can be overused and used in ways that aren't educationally meaningful." For this reason, she said, it's important teachers to receive proper training." Students use way to much of phones that they aren't really learning they are just going on sites to see whats happening and not focusing. The students use their phones to go on sites that aren't necessary for the specific class. The more trouble they do on their phones they won't be able to learn in classes and just stick to their phones all day. Imagine being phones all school day without learning and failing the class to fail the year.

Phones cause many things to happen to the students who are able to use their phones during school. Many troubles happen because of the use of phones when they are not used correctly . Maybe your kids might be facing troubles like this when they have been given the opportunity of using phones during school.
